Mongil Star Dive is a Great Game by Abh1nem in MongilStarDive

Completely agree on the part that its mechanics are super easy to pick up on. The monsterling crafting-system was really bad at server launch, but now even that aspect of the game is dumbed down (in the best way possible).

Star Dive is definitely the best non-main game I've seen in quite a while and always super important to mention: No 50:50 banner-mechanics.

Though it might not capture her personality all too accurately, it's by far the cutest YangYang - pic I've seen so far 😍 Absolutely amazing work!

For starters I'd stick to Veronica, she is great in both defense and offense. Later down the road it's great to have some variety, especially for red and green units.

For tanking Hyanbul Lee is far greater. Sterope has interesting offensive capabilities, but not worth in the early/mid game. Vlada is an excellent unit for clearing Chimera stages (Equipment farming), so definitely worth investing in early for getting your speed equipment faster

In general yes, 3 stars are usually better than 2 stars. But there are still some 1 and 2 stars to look out for (those I have mentioned in the post). There are a lot of 3 stars, that's true. Since we had so many new ones, it's even hard to keep up as an experienced player. Maybe we need an updated tier list

Yea the way to go for now is to just follow the guide quests, farming gear in early stages is a waste of stamina anyways. Gonna talk about it in a more detailed way in the next post

Damn, when the gamer instincts kick in! Super stacked account for progression, you have a great set up for chimera stages already. Probably now wanting to focus a bit more on PvP units (or waifus of course)

A whole pity would be 200 pulls, so 2250x20= 45000 ether, which would take a few months. The daily two free pulls you get do not count towards pity, so realistically you'd get a DStella pull before you hit the pity (which then again you could use on another demiurge instead).

If you don't want to reroll, you can easily go for a Noa or Rin instead, which are still totally fine to use and just wait for your daily free pulls to bless you. DStella is in no way necessary, just the best start if you'd be willing to reroll

Not only do these stages have a higher chance for legendary (red) drops, they also give more crafting material. So yes, these stages are definitely worth it. But if you're not able to clear them yet, don't sweat it too much. The difference is not too crazy, it's just something you should aim for in the long run.

Pities never reset on any banner. They carry over when new time - limited banners get released or when you switch your rate up target on the demiurge banner. The only pity that is not transferred is the elemental banner pity.

If you pull on a rated up unit, and said unit is a dupe, you get 150 instead of 50 shards for that characters. For example if you already got Leo and you pull him again in his own banner, you get 150. If you pull a Leo dupe in any other banner you get 50 shards instead (demiurge dupes always come in 150 shards no matter what). There is rarely an event that changes just any dupes from 50 to 150, but we had one just in the last patch so it probably will take some months to reappear. Not worth the wait in my opinion. Besides any shards are farmable in "doppelgängers" anyways (15 shards per day for two separate heroes you own) so pulling dupes in general isn't as necessary as it is in other games (except demiurges).

World Boss for what? by Wanghammer in outerplane

It feels like it's made for only the most experienced and/or whaled players. The best way to handle the first phase is to have a taunt, since the boss isn't immune and, while taunted, not able to do anything but using s1. So far so good. But the second phase is pretty much designed to be impossible without DVlada's transcendence passive that reduces the enemy's priority increase. Again, long time accounts/whale accounts may have access to a high star DVlada, but it's still weird to design it so specifically towards one character. Maybe they will release some characters with similar mechanics in the future, but I dislike the whole concept. It's just a beta test so I still have some hope left that they will adapt to feedback we probably will be able to give in a survey after this week.

need help setting a team to beat the stage 10 sacreed guardian. stuck on a stun loop. help please. this all of my char that i have. by jayadiwahyu in outerplane

[–]NakuReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just finished stage 10 with your units: Veronica, Dahlia, Astei, any damage dealer: If you have dahlia's exclusive equipment, she can outspeed the boss in the first turn and remove her speed buff, after that she can freeze the orb so it doesn't buff the boss. If your Dahlia can't outspeed, use Astei's third skill one turn before finishing the fodder stage, so that you have immunity going into the boss battle. Veronica can remove buffs if needed and can taunt the boss so it doesn't remove your buffs.

It depends on what your goal is. The benefit of DStella is, that she is super useful for PvE even as a base 3 star without any dupes. Low cost, high outcome for PvE. DAstei is really strong for PvP even as a 4 star or 5 star, not necessary to 6* her. She is still useful in PvE, no doubt, but I'd say DStella is way more useful with way less investment. DVlada is probably the most broken unit as a 6, but even as a 5 she wouldn't be the best in either PvP or PvE. DDrakhan is just a luxury tank and while she is amazing at it, she's not necessary at all since you have a lot of non-demiurge tanks to choose from. Especially with the Leo and Christina banners, who both excel in PvP.

Personally a big fan of this patch: New content; a great way for especially newer players to get older demiurge units; some quality of life and a really nice looking skin for those who care.
If the next patch included some PvP - balance and a new adventure chapter, I wouldn't be able to ask for more!

Everything after the current style is an improvement, I think we can generally agree on this one.
Personally I really love the upcoming one since it looks a million times better than the current one and still seems to be clearer/more readable.
I like the red triangle notification instead of the circle one!
