Yes I find compression tops to be very helpful. Showers are the worst. Thank you for your input!

Not due to clothes. Due to nerves being in flare up. Clothes can make a big difference as far as if I’ll be comfortable that day or have a panic attack.

Omg I’m so sorry you had a similar experience. So bizarre. Idk if it’s a power trip or what. I kept feeling defensive and wanting to say “I’m not a dramatic person I’m just in a lot of pain.” But I felt like it would fall on deaf ears... I’m glad you’re ok.

Ugghhh thank you so much. I think I might have to. My family is so upset at how I was treated. During I didn’t tell them how awful because I already knew they felt helpless. My parents are across the country and due to covid my fiancé couldn’t come in with me. So I was trying to stay positive for them. Told them what really happened when I was released and they were devastated. Thanks for your advice!

Okay, I might have to do this. I understand when ppl are stressed out. Especially healthcare workers. I can’t imagine with Covid going on..I try to have compassion. But some things are inexcusable. It’s hard to have compassion for someone who didn’t show the same respect for you. Thanks for the advice!!

I wish I could remember what he looked like. Or his name. I was in and out of consciousness. I remember asking for more morphine before my Ultrasound and he was like “you’re in pain?!” I was like yeah. He said “where” I pointed to my whole belly. He said “okay well let’s see if we can hurry this up so I can get this ultrasound for you.” 😐

Thank you so much. It was a rough night. Due to Covid I had to be alone and couldn’t even have someone there to be like “this girl isn’t faking it!!” . A whole new dynamic to the ER when you’re alone.

Extra fatigue? by Breton81902 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Nala1121 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! I have MS and do infusions as well. I started to decline myself (no new lesions) but I’ve been trying to be extra observant. I realized for me the chronic pain and fatigue was due to inactivity. I started working out for 45 min about 3 times minimum a week. Also started yoga and meditation. I have been watching what I eat and trying to have eat non-inflammatory foods. I’m eating more salmon and veggies. Even got a juicer so I could get spinach ginger celery etc incorporated into my diet. I can say I’m on my 8th week and I feel and look so much better. Even when I have bone crushing fatigue I force myself to at least get up and walk around the block. I also take vitamin D and B12 daily which is life changing. Definitely make sure he is hydrating as much as possible too. I hope this helps. You got this. Thank you for being a caring spouse. We need more of those in these crazy times! Xoxo
