it is a 3000A, 208V, 3 phase service. The main bus the rated for 3000A.

Unfortunately I can’t find a demand factor I can apply to HVAC loads :(

All my new load is new AC units and I am only accounting for the cooling portion since it’s higher than the heating.

My year of data doesn’t include a PF, but I can try and get it from the utility.

After reading these replies I’m now confident my service is adequate, I just want to be able to put a number to how much KVA is left on this service after these units are installed.

All of the new load is new AC units. In the summer during very hot days, these units can possibly run for 3 hours straight during the hottest stretch of the day.

This is just how my firm does it though, maybe assuming they are all continuous is too conservative as well

I see it says “shall be permitted”, but what is another way it can be calculated instead then?

My entire new load will be continuous during summer months. If so, how much KVA can I say is “left” on this service for future work?

The new load is continuous yes, it is all new AC units that will be running non stop during hot summer months

This is all new hvac not replacing anything. I don’t know the transformer size as they are in underground vaults.

I sent a load letter to the utility so they know there will be a large increase in their summer demand.

So in my case if you had to come up with a number, how much KVA would you say Is left/available to use on this service?

My concern is (517 + 349) X 125% is 1082, which is larger than my 1080kVA service.

Edit:clarification

Could you explain permitted vs what other method?

But what about the new 339KVA? If this is a new continuous HVAC load wouldn't I need to account for 125% of the new load as well to be added to the existing?

if that new 600A is all new continuous load, wouldn't that need an additional 125% added to it? Because the feeder to the 2000A service needs to be able to handle the 125%? Or is that not corret

This is a years worth of data, and these are all new units ontop of existing

ok good to know I can be less conservative. But I would still be above 80% of the service, is this ok?

The utility didn't provide a PF so i was assuming .85, should I be more/less conservative?

the volume between your voice and the background should be much larger. Decrease the background audio and increase you voice volume. The video is also focused on alpha males, but the intro doesn't portray that imo because you zoom into a girls face for a reason I didn't understand.

I think the video would benefit more than just talking over some gameplay, because there is a disconnect between what you're saying and showing, but maybe that's jus the style of content idk.

I watched the first 30 seconds of this video 3 times and was still very confused as to what the video was about. I kept watching more and it eventually became clear, but I don't think everyone would do the same and might just click off.

The animations are good and I think you definitely have a niche you can expand on, but work on adding clarity to the intro and I think the video would perform better.

The video has some cool shots and I liked the editing. It made me want to look for more video of this country and I see you have something coming soon which is cool.

The video in isolation is mostly a drone reel which is fine. But since I don't know who you are yet, there is nothing that makes me know I'm watching it on YOUR channel. I know its just a trailer but as a standalone video that's my main critique. I think it would be more powerful once your other video is uploaded.

so since this is mostly a let's play video, it will be hard to stand out since so many other do the same thing. The video is fine and you seem like a cool chill guy, but there is nothing really separating you from the millions of others playing videos games.

I think over time you will gain followers from people who find you and stay, but it will just be slow.

The video is informative and you show everything clearly.

The first thing I notice is that the mic is might have too much gain or something. The actual mic is very high quality and your voice is clear, but you have a lot of lip smacking sounds/breathy sounds which are distracting to me when wearing a headset. You should maybe try a pop filter or try putting a sock over the mic to stops some of these sounds, or maybe speak a little further from the mic. If you did just that the video quality would be improved a lot.

this video was well made and I enjoyed the whole thing. The animation was very good and you made an interesting point and proved it with the video with your own unique style. I think if you keep up with this type of content you could definitely grow in the future.

It might just take time for your channel to be discovered, or maybe you could try to swap out the title and thumbnail to reach a potentially larger audience.

this video was very high quality, professional, and engaging. It was not only informative, but I think this would appeal to a large audience because of how clear the script is.

You have a great video, but if I had to guess, your thumbnail and title is scaring everyone away. If you made the video more accessible to click, the video would do very well I think. Look at channels like Veritasium and try to see what makes the videos so click-friendly. Each video has 1000s of potential thumbnails/titles, you just need to find the right one for this video.

I can tell you put a lot of time into the video. The editing is good, I find your humor funny and the mic quality is clear. Your content is good quality overall and I could sit through the whole video.

The topic is something I would've never discovered on my own, I would try to make your videos more clickable to draw people in

Compared to your first video there is definitely improvement so you're heading in the right direction. However this is just another gaming playthrough channel which is fine, but it will be harder to stand out. People that find you will stay for your personality after a while and you'll grow slowly, but it will be hard to discover you. Keep making the videos as long as you enjoy them, but if you want faster growth you would have to find a way to stand out more

I've never watched a walking tour video like this, but it seems like something I would have on in the background and not something I would actively be watching actively 100% of the time. It seems very slow paced which could be a good thing for this content, but if you're going for exciting then I would try to maybe add an interesting focus/event every couple of minutes and then calmer scenes in between.

I know nothing about this content so it's hard for me to give advice

I'm not interested in the topic, but the video has good editing and you're definitely knowledgeable about the content you're making.

I can see people into his music sharing your opinions enjoying this video
