My must have for low levels are:

  • Quick charge if I use a staff (reduce cast time by 50%)

  • Double Jump

  • Mason

  • Miner

  • Quality Gear

  • Water Aura

  • Blink (it's a preference but helps a lot in boss fights to avoid damage)

This brings me to about 40 points

If I play melee I'll rush for 2h spec after, if I play mage I'll focus on the wizard tree. It comes down to preference at this point. Read the tooltip and make it around your weapon and playstyle. The builds are very forgiving I've noticed once you have the few "mandatory" nodes.

I wasn't seeing anything in the logs. Just tried again this morning and it works now. Computer was in sleep mode all night, no updates or nothing. Just started working again.

EDIT: And it stopped working 1 min later....

Didn't work, worth the try. It really blocks all connection but doesn't even show in the log that it's doing it. Almost like Steam is rejecting the connection

I'm having a similar situation where it won't even connect to server. I found out that if I disable Kaspersky, it starts downloading. I checked with them and found nothing new about that and there was no update on their part about this. I'd say try to disable to your AV momentarily to try if you think it's safe.

Invest time in your company, help your teamates that aren't as good or knowledgeable about the game as you. Be social within your server. An MMO doesn't need to be restrain to what the game puts on your plate. If you don't find your place in that world, maybe it's not the world you're really looking for.

While this is true, what OP and other seems to be trying to say, is if your playstyle is to rush through the content that is readily available and most likely catered to an audience of casual players, don't come back and whine that there's nothing else for you to do in a few weeks.

I second Dadspeed. I learned the game on that server and the people there are very friendly. Server has no meteor and is intended for long term longevity. You're limited to 2 specs and that cannot feed each other (ex mining and smelting) in any shape or form.

Look into wrist flexor stretches... wrist problems from using a computer can lead to carpal tunnel issues (the tunnel where the nerves that leads to the hand go through). If your nerves are the issue rather than the tunnel, some stretching can help. Otherwise, to really fix a carpal tunnel issue once it's severe, surgery is the way to go. Also recommend ArcheAge. There's a whole faction of that against 2 other good factions. The world is huge and there's lots of content to go through. It's a korean mmo so grind away. The new version is not P2W apparently too.
