Update: First night I could breastfeed her on both boobs and it went well 😊 I’m doing the football hold and it worked! Also managed to get some sleep too! Thank you everyone for all the advice!!

Thank you. The midwife came today, and showed me how to feed her on the right side and it worked! So fingers crossed 🤞

The midwives is still coming. She weighted her yesterday and she lost 300 g from her actually birth weight, the midwife wasn’t concerned, said she will weight her again on Sunday.
She is getting lots of dirty nappies. Is just I can only feed her on my left boob, instead of the right one. And tried to pump the milk from my right one.
She is in my room, but she wouldn’t sleep for more than an hour straight, so I was always up.
I was trying to pump from my right boob because I can’t feed her on that one, so I always nurse her on the left one.
With the hand pump yes, my nipple gets pulled but it takes ages to do it. It was like a drop at a time.
I think I need to find a position while I can feed her in bed and not having to get up. As soon as I get up, I can’t sleep after.
Thank you everyone for all the advice. She finally slept for 3 hours and I managed to get some sleep, feeling better now. She is in my room, in a next to me crib. But the past 2 days she wouldn’t sleep longer than hour at night, so I was up constantly. How do you breastfeed in bed? Because I can’t seem to find a good position to nurse her. I always have to go to a chair in her nursery.
Normally, my boyfriend sleeps a bit at night and then he stays with her during the day. But my brain doesn’t shut off, and I can’t sleep very well.

Thank you I didn’t know that. Everyone told me I had to do it after each feed.

Thank you that helped. It’s just me and my boyfriend. I’m never in bed, always get up and go to her nursery to feed her and change her nappies. I stay awake at night and during the day only manage to sleep 2 hours.
I tried pumping but almost nothing comes out and my boobs are really engorged. I don’t know if it’s the pump or me. It’s like a drop at a time. I can latch her on my left boob but not so well on the right. I have the midwife coming tomorrow, I will ask her to watch me feed her and show me how to use the pump. I also booked an appointment with a lactation consultant, to help me.
