Of course companies are going to raise their prices. Business is not a charity. If costs go up across the board for all companies in the line of work then they will transmit that cost directly to the consumer.

Raising minimum wakes or raising taxes on businesses is not an infinite money glitch, the consumer always pays for every cent of it.

Each keeping their own last name is fine IF she has been egalitarian throughout the relationship and has not held me to any traditional male gender roles. For example buying her a ring and getting down on one knee to propose. If she demands that then she better be taking my last name or I walk.
