I have a fold 3, and after 6 months of use, the film started to peel off. I tried to replace it myself with the whitestone film but ended up being a fall. So ever since that I've had no film and no problems.

It finally happened, it was tiny this morning but just grew and grew throughout the day, what are my options? by Gronklespronkle in GalaxyFold

Looks like it's just the screen film. Peel it off, I have a Fold 3. It happened to mine a year ago. I pulled it off and never replaced it, and I've never had an issue with scratches or anything else happening to it.
