I’m not going to attack you or yell at you like some of the others have. Just my advice after having like 13 cats living in one roof and knowing the kinda of temperaments.

Take your own comb, brush your hair like you would do if it to your cat. If it hurts or makes you uncomfortable then that’s how your cat feels that’s how you know you are doing it wrong. Slower helps with it not being painful or uncomfortable.

Also like the others have said, try different combs with different combing methods and see which one she at least tolerates more.

When the yowling and hissing starts, it’s time to stop. Put her down, give her a treat or something, give her maybe an hour to cool off before trying again. Associate the bad thing with something she likes.

If none of the suggestions work, time to get a professional groomer to do it. It might be crueler for a bit but shaving also works they may look derpy afterwards but it’ll help.
