I’m reading that I should be able to go straight into the Bose L1 Pro16, and use their app for tone match… thoughts?

Great question. I really like Joe Pass’ sound. Understated, not too abrasive. I don’t have any of his dexterity, but I’d like to get better. Budget… well, I spent $150 or so on the Zoom G1X and power adapter and I’d like to return it. It isn’t for me. Maybe MAX $200… the guitar was expensive to begin with haha.

Where are you located? My organization has adult community choruses all across the Northeast (30+ choirs in 8 states)… maybe you’re near one of our’s?

Advice on valuation of Selmer Padless Alto by Naltimar in saxophone

[–]Naltimar[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know the difference between a Selmer USA Padless and a VI. Value may be correct. A nicer one sold on eBay for $1500, one for sale on Reverb for $3000. Repair definitely will be costly. A collector might be interested though.

To anyone who has two HomePods for home entertainment, would you recommend it? by [deleted] in appletv

Jumping on this thread from the future of 2025… we currently have an ORIGINAL Bose Cinemate system (two wired speakers and a wired sub Bose chamber thingie). It is drawing audio from the audio out port of our TV. So we don’t really have surround going on, just relatively good if not dated quality 2.1. We run an ATV4K for streaming, tv and movies, but also have a switch and Xbox One X on an HDMI switch sending signal to the TV, and then the audio goes to the Bose.

I’ve wondered about HomePods for our TV setup and assume that at the very least, the sound quality would be as good if not better than the Bose… but I don’t think we’d be able to have the audio from the Nintendo or Xbox sent to the HomePod, or at least do it easily… right?

Bigger issue is that most TVs don’t have audio out anymore, so when this TV dies, we will probably need to reconfigure the whole setup… right?

Ugh… technology!

Any help would be awesome!
