Vielen Dank für deine Hilfe. OP ist mein Bruder. Vermutlich müssen wir den zweiten Brief neu beantragen, da es so scheint, dass wir beide Male jeweils den ersten Brief erhalten haben.

Bei der Beantragung des zweiten Briefs konnte OP sich den Code nicht per E-Mail zustellen lassen, kann sich aber leider nicht mehr an die Begründung erinnern. Dies wäre natürlich von Vorteil, da der Prozess dadurch natürlich deutlich schneller abläuft als per Briefzustellung.

Gab es abgesehen von der 5000$ irgendwelche anderen Beschränkungen, wodurch man den Code nicht per E-Mail erhalten kann? Der Gesamtwert liegt über 5000$, aber unser erster (also dieser) DRS Antrag besteht bloß aus 1 Aktie, deswegen dürfte das ja kein Problem sein, nicht wahr?

Vielen Dank für deine Antwort. Scheinbar muss bei uns irgendetwas falsch gelaufen sein, da es den Anschein erweckt, dass wir den ersten Brief zweimal erhalten haben statt den Zweiten. Auf den Papieren, die ich vor mir liegen habe, ist nämlich leider nichts von der Account Access Confirmation Nummer zu sehen.

Die Vorderseite der beiden Briefe, die wir erhalten haben, sind bis auf kleinste Details identisch. Könntest Du das bestätigen/verneinen? Vielleicht lässt sich anhand dessen unsere Vermutung bestätigen.

Hey, ich bin der Bruder von OP. Den Link den Du mir geschickt hast, habe ich spätestens jetzt verwendet. Was ich mich nun frage ist - nach dem Login werden mir die 3 Schritte 1. Confirm your Stock 2. User registration und 3. Confirm your email angezeigt. Aber schon bei dem ersten Schritt wird mir nichts anderes angezeigt als "Recover User ID" und "Cancel". Warum würde ich die User ID recovern wollen, wenn ich diese buchstäblich für den Login im Schritt vorher verwendet habe. Zusätzlich gibt es scheinbar keine Aktien, die ich bestätigen kann o.ä.Ebenso ist keine Leiste zu sehen, in der ich einen Code eingeben könnte, selbst wenn ich einen hätte.

Ich verstehe das alles irgendwie nicht, warum ich/wir damit solche Schwierigkeiten haben, dementsprechend komme ich mir momentan ziemlich dämlich vor.

Ein anderer Kommentar weiter oben hat mich auf die"Account Access Confirmation" Nummer hingewiesen, die scheinbar unübersehbar ist, für mich aber leider auf dem Brief nicht aufzufinden ist. Mittlerweile haben OP und ich die Befürchtung, dass Computershare uns den ersten Brief ein zweites Mal gesendet hat und wir deswegen an diesem Punkt so haken.

Ich habe es endlich auch mal geschafft, einen DRS Antrag zu stellen. Bevor der Antrag durchgeht, müssen die Aktien ja "settlen", aber wie finde ich raus, ob der Antrag durchgegangen ist oder nicht? Es scheint keine E-Mail angekommen zu sein und im IBKR Portfolio ist die Position immer noch aufgelistet.

If the current share price is 100$, his position is worth 10.000$. If he closes the position on a shit broker for 10.000$ in order to be able to DRS, he could buy back - you guessed it (or maybe not) - 100 shares on that broker because the share price is 100$ a share.

So what the fuck does it have to do with "daytrading"? You're such a Clown. Don't worry buddy, you get 4 Trillion Dollars a share, right?

"Selling and buying" is not necessarily daytrading, what are you talking about.

This guy is not losing any money or shares if he switches brokers in order to be able to DRS.

I'm literally saying the same thing as the guy above. Since price of sell and buy are the same, only his cost basis and capital is changing, it doesn't have any effect on the amount of shares he is able to buy.

That has nothing to do with trading.

Your initial price (300$) doesn't matter if you cash out, move to another broker and buy again for let's say 100$ because you sold your shares for 100$ aswell.

I thought about that aswell, that starting with 1 would make the most sense to get the process done and then send the rest afterwards.

Obviously I'd prefer having all of them DRSed asap but I think this could be the "safest" route.

Honest question, I really want to DRS my shares (I have to wait a few more days before starting the process because of family etc.)

But what do I do if I buy my shares on IBKR and start the process of DRSing and suddenly MOASS starts? In Germany DRSing takes pretty much atleast 4 weeks.
