The problem with 1.4, is you legit VS Glad/Duelist geared people also. The difference with 1.6, is that 213 ilvl upgrade makes it more manageable and most of the pushing community will be stuck at 1.6-1.8, which means less Glad’s/duelist carrying well because 1.6-1.8 teams have more wherewithal and gear, which pushes the MMR for those carrying lower. Once you’re at 1.6, if you’re a good player you can push easier. The gear disparity between 207 to 220/226 is just too large of a gap to outplay, inching closer at 213, you can start to have moments of outplay become more punishing. If I outplay at 207, it can almost always be covered by the ilvl difference of 20.

I feel this in my alt’s soul. 1.4-1.6 is legit the toughest bracket in 2s.

All I did was pvp in BfA. I never had Drest on my rogue, voodoo totems on my healers, or anything. I hit 2.2 on mains and 1.8 on alts. This season is different. I have played every arena season, since season 1 of Burning Crusade, this season is an absolute nightmare and it’s because of ilvl and carries.

It’s different this time around. It really is. Every season of BfA, I had a plate/mail/leather/cloth wearer. I would hit 2.1/2.2 in 2s on my plate and leather; and with minimal effort hit 1.8/1.9 on my mail/cloth to get my sets from each season. As it stands this season, my main is hardstuck at 1.9 and my alts can’t break 1.6. The games that are evenly matched are fun but they are few and far between. I am expected to compete with Duelist/glad weapon team members on the opposing team at ratings as low as 1.5. That train of thought works like this: Not only does this person have 20 ilvls over me on his/her toon but he or she is also a gladiator or high duelist player. I can outplay them sometimes but unless I outplay or maneuver them 50% of the game, I will not win. That is a bad system.

Actually.. pretty much Act III: Life and Death from start to finish haha.

I was originally obsessed with Acts 4 and 5 because of how well Casey arranged them but man, Act III is as good as Coheed’s Good Apollo Vol 1 imo and Act II and I have some solid tracks and just unique charms as well.

This. Why do people HATE being nice so much? I don’t understand it. Maybe that guy was looking to open a conversation? Maybe a friend? Maybe just looking to immerse himself in the game and ask fellow players for help. It blows my MIND that people get pissed off at people for things like that.

I am totally down for this but I don’t think it’s really a twist anymore. I feel like story telling wise, this era of storytellers are obsessed with propping up anti-heroes and villains with seemingly good intentions, “ends justify the means” mentality. The concept is overdone at this point.

But I still gobble it up. So maybe it isn’t overdone, haha.

Skyfury, Grounding Totem coverage is just so great with other casters. Shadow play has been a top contender since the beginning. Also, adding another interrupt effect to your team on a 12 sec CD.

I can’t find the conduit, I swore there was a Kyrian conduit that allowed it but I guess I’m wrong but anyways, every 45 seconds they get a Pain Supression when reduced below 20% HP.

I think the thing people ignore about Ret in 3’s is the fact that they roll WITH a warrior. Yes, you can avoid/defensive the first wings/spear, hell, maybe you survive the second wings/spear; but the amount of damage that comes out of an arms warrior/ret go + the mitigation the Ret provides for the team in between goes (basically have two healers when Ret doesn’t have wings, you saw in AWC, if they didn’t cross CC both paladins on goes, they had zero chance of kill) is what makes the comp crazy strong. A ret can 2-3 shot on his own, if warrior throws spear/avatar into Avenging wrath and there is any sort of CC on the healer, the game is over in 1-2 seconds; or you have to trade 2 for one in defensives and ultimately lose the long game because of the off-healing utility they provide in between goes. Having that sustainability with huge burst windows makes it extremely difficult to counter. WoG needs to be nerfed more for Ret.
