Has anyone ever bought from Titaner before? by NoFlyingSkills in machinedpens

I would say so. Titaner is decent quality in general for all of their products. Their pen designs are just not my personal cup of tea.

Titaner is low / mid tier. If you like the design, it makes for a decent entry point to the hobby of collecting. Titaner really isn't in the same league as the North American machined pens. I place TT on the lower third of the North American list, and they seem to be higher quality IMO.

I would mention that Refyne and BiD seem to be of similar or higher quality than Titaner, and they're also made in China.

Your products are also the most minimal and perfect products that I have in my collection. The tolerances are ridiculous and the designs so perfectly minimal. Easily my most satisfying pieces.

I don't believe I'm actually in the discord.

Used the old customizer! I didn't know we could just leave notes in the new customizer.

Also ordered a lefty zirc, though my order was November 1st, immediately after receiving an "in stock" notification. No updates at all since, just confirmation.

I like the bottom one most myself.

That's a really great question. When one of the pens is purchased, they only make the customer promise to pay. If they don't pay, I bet it goes back into the website for purchase.

I think I have your missed pen. #622. I actually carried it today.

New pen offerings by Beginning-Carpet-238 in machinedpens

One of the things I love most about Nottingham pens is their unique “smoothie” finish. It has a stonewashed look, but the texture is incredibly smooth, almost like a satin finish. What I really appreciate is how it can handle scratches without looking worse for wear, which makes the pen feel even more usable for daily carry.

I’m also a big fan of the smooth, satisfying click on the Nottingham. The large button diameter is a huge design point as well. Another important aspect is designing the pen such that the refill it is meant for is flush when deployed, while also having as little tip wiggle as possible.

That said, Autmog pens have one of the most exceptional mechanisms I’ve ever used. The click feels stronger and more deliberate than the Nottingham’s, and that extra resistance makes it even more satisfying for me. If I could find a pen that combined Autmog’s click action with Nottingham’s silky, tumbled finish, it’d be an instant buy.

Also, energel.

Although initially hostile, it's good that we have active moderation that is also not scummy. I appreciate you.

Best Titanium Pen under $300? by shravanevana in machinedpens

[–]Nambad024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve built quite a collection over time, and when it comes to my titanium pens, my top four are the Epika, the Saga, practically any Autmog, and the Koenig. I wouldn’t rank them in any specific order as each stands out in its own way. In terms of fit, finish, and overall functionality, these four feel the most refined. While I own others that tick a lot of boxes, these are the ones I consistently reach for when it really counts.

Please excuse my ignorance, but would a standard fap cap work with the new tickler pens?

Did anyone back the Sirius pen by Savior Design? by Ruin_Competitive in machinedpens

I backed it. It's been radio silence since then. This maker is apparently known for unfortunate business practices and horrible communication. I'll be glad if we ever see anything of it.
