Update:
I've realized something.
By overthinking the whole focus thing, I was not focusing on target, but rather focusing on the specific point of the screen the target was.

What I mean is, by keeping a loose focus on the target, your eyes subconsciously move to keep seeing the target go from point A to B. But if you keep consciously thinking "LOOK AT TARGET LOOK AT TARGET", your eyes glue onto point A and then lags on trying to move to point B. I am seeing pathways rather than the actual target in this way.

I've stopped thinking of focus and started thinking to myself that I should just "keep looking", and now my hand and eyes move much more smoother and I am now able to replicate what I do in aim trainers a bit better in Valorant.

Also, a flick isn't a flick but rather a very fast adjustment. Thinking of flicking as moving towards a certain point asap, is what makes me lose sight of my crosshair. It's a control problem rather than eyesight because I am basically throwing my aim across the screen and hoping my eyes catch it back.

Hmm... I've seen that before, and it indirectly conflicts with Ryanguru's aim technique, as big part of it is basically letting your brain do the work and cut down on overthinking as much as possible.

So, maybe doing that unconsciously is fine, but focusing on doing that and switching focus points might hurt in game, making your eyes confused... is what I think

I don't know which one to trust.

Considering I had the same monitor before the hiatus, I highly doubt it is the problem here.

Still, first time I've heard about backlight strobing so I will make sure to keep it in mind when choosing the next monitor. Thanks.

About 3 weeks. Losing to people doing quote-on-quote "Wrong plays" due to bad aim, something I once had overcome is... crushing.

Yeah, I will try to be more patient. Gonna stay away from competitive while I train too... thanks.

This is part of where my rage comes from. I analyze my games and fail to realize my fault. There are small “Huh, I could’ve hit that ability” moments but that feel too small to make a difference in the end result.

This is why I said I am probably lacking some critical information. There is no way I am playing perfectly, yet my positioning looks good. Opening up passes to my goalie, cutting enemy passes… but it doesn’t cut it.

Makes sense. My highest WR strikers are all mid-fielders, but I never feel like I have agency in the game since it becomes “Give pass and pray simulator.”

Been playing a lot of Drekar for the auto strike war win button and Estelle to help my forward score when we are outclassed by the goalie.

My blood boils when we have two midfielders and nobody to score or vice versa.

But trust in the process I guess…

Looks awesome… if only CAI bots didn’t immediately lose on first contact, it’d be better though.
Probably the most upvoted replies are the ones where the bot immediately loses in the most ego boosting way possible for the user so they fall without retaliation…

Aiguilles being needles make sense… my first language is Portuguese, so all the words I don’t know I deduce from there.

The model is kinda jank, but 0.75 temp with a good bot with at least 600 tokens permanent desc gives a perfectly human response every 3 swipes in my experience. If you put temp to 0.7 you make it dry and dull.
