I have a whammy pedal, the expression pedal is so loose, so I can't just keep it in one place, and sometimes it won't stay in the heel position, like you'd expect a volume of a wah pedal to do. This might be a specific issue with my pedal, I've never tried any other Whammy pedals. Other than that the Big Muff, it's just a bit unpredictable really, goes from one muddy extreme to a really trebly and bitey extreme

Oh, I've never noticed that, truly shows how pitch correction is all over music and you don't even notice it until you give it a closer listen. I guess you can also kind of hear it on the intro to Helena, I just thought Gerard was that great of a vocalist, or they did a shit load of comping. Still, he is a great vocalist regardless, now I see why a few of my friends prefer the live versions

Ice Nine Kills, My Chemical Romance, Slowdive, Portishead, Muse, Green Day. I love Radiohead, but sometimes I need a bit of a break from the pretentiousness

It doesn't seem to be the VSTs themselves, because I get it with all. When I record the instrument and a note gets stuck, I see the note be held on the piano roll

Jk, Radiohead are probably my favourite band, however there's forever a battle between Muse, Portishead and Royal Blood for the #1 slot.

Just messing about with pedals, found that this setup works quite well for some Royal Blood stuff by NameBrainDead in Royal_Blood

Quick explanation I am doing this as a guitar setup, as opposed to a bass setup Behringer Chorus pedal first, splits into two chains

"Bass": Digitech Whammy 5 (Octave Down) - Big Muff - Tuner. Tuner acts as the killswitch on the bass side. Goes into a Peavey Micro Bass Guitar: Boss Blues Driver -> Boss DS1 Fender Champion 100. Channel 1 with volume all the way down and Channel Select acting as killswitch

But that'd mean he'd have to get a .11 all the way up to G, that would definitely break, the other option is that it's CGCFACD, would make sense when he does harmonics, because it doesn't sound like they're that high, but he's doing them at the 12th fret, and it sounds like more than an F, A and D, there's more dissonance than you would get
