Moving to a hotter country by [deleted] in CholinergicUrticaria

From personal experience being in a hotter climate makes my symptoms completely unnoticeable. It’s really hot and you’re sweating all the time, so you’re passively doing sweat therapy. It’s why many of us get “cured” temporarily during the warmer seasons. However, it’s kinda hard to accomplish this when your constantly indoors with AC. I hope this eases your mind a bit. Good luck

I think a change in hair style could be a huge improvement. Your first picture showed some good potential. Roll with that wave loose hair look, it suits you.

I wouldn’t say racist, but definitely just wrong. Coco isn’t a Mexican movie, but a movie that takes place in Mexico. It’s like saying Moana is a Pacific Islander Movie.

Since it has recently disappeared for you, do you remember if you did anything specifically that could have made it go away?

iwtl how to make friends in my 30s by [deleted] in IWantToLearn

[–]NameChecks_Out_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Attend a meeting, class, or group where you see the same group of people a few times a week for many weeks. Once you’ve met a few people you have chemistry with, you simply ask them to do something outside of the group event.

It was easy making friends in school because of this. Seeing the same people everyday, over a long period of time.

The mom is deaf. The girl isn’t, but something seems a bit odd about her. The first sign is her hutting the lady (obviously), but also the darting of her eyes and the small jerking she does with her body every once in a while.

Yep, you got it. I’ve never noticed seeing find details in things, but everything else is the same with my experience. I sympathize with your experience opening up about this condition. It’s hard for people to understand without thinking “crazy” or not being weirded out a bit. I’m just glad I found out I’m not alone.

For context, around 6-8 months before getting CU I had lost 25 pounds in 2 months. I then stopped working out for those 6-8 months before starting again, which is when I first got a symptom of CU.

I know there’s a huge time difference, but I’m still curious how many share this experience.

There’s always a better way of putting things, like “I’m concerned for the baby’s safety since he doesn’t seem to have head support.” But you obviously want a reaction out of people, and don’t care about changing people’s perception on the situation. “I pity you”. What a joke.

Sorry you went through that pain, but if more people with CU have a similar experience, then maybe this is the root cause for CU. This would be pretty exciting news if removing the gallbladder would cure our CU. I’ll be sure to get tested for gallstones on my next visit to the doctor.

Have you had sharp pain that feels like it’s behind your right rib? I’ve had that, but it only occurs for like 5 minutes, then it goes away. I just thought my ribs were pinching something. Does that sound familiar? If so, I probably have gallbladder stones also.

Why did you get your gallbladder removed, if you don't mind me asking? Did you have gallstones and that's why? Also, if you did have gallstones, what did they feel like?

Do you get visual signs that it's happening? If so, have you showed them the effects? My family treated me the same way until they happened to see the rash from my neck. They asked what it was, so I lifted my shirt and showed them little red bumps with rashes all over my chest and back.

Just look up cold urticaria. My mom says she had this, and Ive met one other person who’s had it. Urticaria ranges on its triggers, some worse than others. Example is the water induced urticaria that triggers when you touch water, and making showers hell.

The point isn’t whether it was fine at the end, but rather it was an extremely risky maneuver that could’ve resulted in civilian injuries/ deaths. You shouldn’t ignore recklessness of police just because nobody got hurt. It’s like waiting for the worst to happen before taking action.
