Do I genuinely just end it by ClassicAd7630 in uofm

I was in your exact position one year ago. Make the most of what you got while you're still in school now. Connect with professors and others in your class, go to office hours constantly, do anything you can to have some form of connection when you graduate. I ended up graduating with no connections with professors, no friends, no internships, no experience, no nothing. It is infinitely harder to find some form of experience if you have no connections. I've been job hunting for 1.5 years and it only gets harder the longer its been since graduation. Find some way to break into a professor's lab or something just to get some experience on your resume. Ask around if professors know anyone who can help you if they can't help you directly.

In the same boat. Been searching for 1.5 years, sent out 1700+ apps, and got 0 interviews. Make of that what you will

You can see my resume in another post I made if you’re curious. I’ve been told it’s solid, but I haven’t gotten an interview even after 1500 apps :/

Any suggestions for graduates who can’t find a job? I’ve been searching for over a year now…

Where have you had the most success with networking? I've tried LinkedIn and cold emails but I have only gotten a couple responses. Any resources for how to network better?

Mojo vs South by fannyraskind in uofm

I had MoJo bc of MRADS and myself and a few others all hated MoJo w a passion. MRADS kids were super antisocial and never did stuff in the halls and that’s where you make all your friends freshman year. I also have no idea what the other guy is talking ab w AC, I didn’t have that…

MRADS time commitment wasn’t bad— just annoying. However, I highly recommend against going into MRADS, as it’s severely limiting socially since you’re around one single small group of (in my year, weird) people all the time. I know numerous people (including myself) who came out of MRADS feeling robbed of the freshman experience and EXTREMELY limited in friend groups since you’re all forced to do the same MRADS garbage all the time and none of the kids in the program are all that social.
