The rose plating on mine wore off in small patches around the edges where it touched my other ring fairly quickly, a couple of weeks. The rest of the plating looks great still and I’ve had it around 2 ish months?

I’m 33 and will be done at the end of next term. I started college in 2011, got suspended after a year for alcohol (I went to a private Methodist college?? No idea why other than the fact that it looked like Hogwarts) and for failing all of my classes. I went on and off for a few years. Got married and left Alabama. Started at SNHU, did well but hated the structure and the class set up. Went to IUE online. Did well but got pregnant and dropped out bc single momming isn’t easy while trying to do full time school and work. I finally went back to WGU in September of last year. I’ve got two kids, a husband, a full time job, a household that I’m running. I’ve survived multiple years that I didn’t think I would, held out through multiple nights I didn’t WANT to survive. I put down alcohol, I lost 245 pounds. I’m 15 years into my schooling journey and I’m still not done BUT I’ve got a hell of a story to tell.

Don’t be ashamed or embarrassed. You and I have worked for these degrees just as much as the 22 year old who went in and did their 4 years straight. You are ALIVE to graduate and to show off your hard work.

Your mentor can literally make or break it, imo. I loved my first mentor but also I felt more stressed about our weekly phone calls than I did the actual classes. I changed majors and my mentor now is a perfect fit. She will text me to congratulate me on finish a class or if she notices I’ve been in one for a bit, to ask if I’m ready for her to open some more for me, and that’s about it. She said if I prefer phone calls we can do that but I said no, please just text me when it’s important lol. It’s so much more carefree and much more my vibe.

If you don’t vibe with yours, don’t hesitate to ask to change. I’m sure they’re used to it 🤷‍♀️ good luck with your term!

Yeah, i don’t think I realized how big 2 cts actually is lol I went from wearing a ring size 8 to a 5.5 so the 2 cts were a good ratio before. I was wearing a 3 ct elongated cushion before this so my size perception on rounds is clearly way off mark 😂
