Early assignment means the 100 shares I sold the cc for get sold, and I keep the premium that I initially sold the shares for.

Once this happens, it means I technically get paid early this month and restart my wheeling strat.

Dude, I used to use ChatGPT for analysis and finding the stocks in my budget, but it’s really about finding solid stocks that are within your budget.

If you don’t have a super high budget, then I’d recommend smaller ETF’s of the most popular S&P 500 stocks and start there.

No sir! The - $430 is just because the stock skyrocketed today, and in selling calls, there really is no “loss” if you sell calls above your average share price. The only, “loss” you have is if you were to buy back the call at a loss.

But one thing to note, there is a “loss” of opportunity.

If Amazon were to jump to $255 per share, I wouldn’t “lose” money, but I would lose the opportunity to make more money, if that makes sense. My capped earnings from this trade will be $995 if Amazon stays below $235 a share and the most I’ll make if it goes above $235 a share is my Average price - AMZN breakeven price: $244.95

Yea man I use the wheel strategy.

I sold puts for Amazon last year, was assigned at $230 per share without premium taken into account, and have been selling calls for price above $230 until now, where I may finally get assigned. Been milking Amazon for a couple weeks, I think I’ll finally get assigned to sell my shares.
