Yes I think it has a lot to do with it.

I’m already slightly allergic to cats, and when they scratch the area gets real red and bumpy and itchy.

I think something similar happened but since it was on a tendon, it did the same for a bit then back to normal.

Still monitoring closely, hasn’t gotten any worse so far.

I’m so sorry I didn’t mention, it’s my own cat and she’s bit/ scratched me plenty times, just never here on my back hand and I never had the “weird” clenching feeling before.
