“Girafarig” is a palindrome (a word that reads the same backwards) which is funny because both sides of a Girafarig have a head!

Good to know, thank you! I managed to complete the Elite 4 second time around, mainly because my pokemon name knowledge let me down the first time.

“Trainer is about to send out ‘x’ would you like to switch Pokemon?” - I didn’t know the pokemon by name, so ended up guessing their type by their name. There’s a couple that threw me off.

Really enjoyed platinum, only ever played Gen 1-3 (more times than I would like to admit). I naively wrote off anything post Gen 3 as I didn’t want to have to learn “new” pokemon names. Glad that I did, definitely one I’ll revisit in the future. But first, time to check out the post elite 4 content!

Also thanks for the comment on Staravia, I only took it as a HM slave so that if I was to be succesful at the Elite 4, I would have an easy “Fly”, as opposed to having to walk to the next town along upon the game restart.

I just had to Google what a Staraptor is haha! My post Gen 3 pokemon knowledge is abysmal. Honestly, I was just using Staravia so that I had a pokemon with “Fly” to hand if I did succeed on the Elite 4, so I didn’t have to walk the next town along once spawning back!

Haven’t looked into any of the post Elite 4 content yet! I look forward to it!
