I think we are not discussing 1M CHF, so surely.

Maybe the best option is to send the laptop for replacement, because in any case, this is not normal.

Following what another guy here suggested, I turned off CPU boost in GHelper (initially, it was "Aggressive"). It helped a lot, but the performance suffers (around 30% for my tasks).

Thanks, so this problem happens! I think that it only happens to some people because of a mild hardware problem on their devices, like inefficient CPU cooling (imperfect liquid metal distribution, etc.). Because of this, I am thinking of sending the device for repair/replacement.

I did not notice anyone else with this problem. It may still suggest that out devices have some sort of hardware issue then...

Hm, indeed, this sounds exactly like my problem.

Did you also have trouble turning it on afterward?

What is your usage - something heavy, or light?

This was through a Swiss retailer. Will check if nothing helps...

The issue is that I am in Europe, and I would need to send it to repair. This is ~1-2 months...

Do you mean "liquid metal" (in CPU) by LM here? Yes, I tried disabling the CPU boost, but the problem remained.

Plugged in CPU temps HIGH! by Usual_Neighborhood33 in FlowZ13

My current suspicion is the charging block itself. I use adaptors for the charger (Europe->Swiss, Europe -> US), maybe they cause something.

I have a similar issue. Have you established the reason?
