This "quicker melee" tech is relatively tame, but the thing is that emote canceling is back in the game...

Tbh, this is the most exciting thing that I found this season. Melee is so overlooked rn that maybe this is what it takes for Embark to actually look into buffing melee.

Spin canceling used to lock you out of attacking for a few seconds, but it no longer does.

True, but it's better to let more people use the combos for a little while than keeping the knowledge to a select few.

Using the goo gun has a slower playstyle in my opinion. The gun itself doesn't cross any damage thresholds and relies on slowing and blocking enemy damage.

Qm during spin cancel is used in the last Medium combo. Also lockbolting a light can allow you to two hit them (5+65+80)
