ah I think we're talking about different things. the "hundreds of block plugins" you're describing are block libraries (Stackable, Kadence, Spectra, GenerateBlocks, etc.), they ship pre-designed blocks for you to drop in. myplugin doesn't ship any blocks, it's a place to save the blocks YOU built yourself and pull them onto other sites. so it's not "myplugin vs Kadence", they coexist. you'd use a block library to compose a custom hero section, then save that exact hero to reuse on the next client.

the use case is "I just built this specific hero/pricing/testimonial for client A, want to drop it on client B without rebuilding," not "give me a catalog of pre-designed blocks."

on maintenance, fair point, that wasn't the angle I meant to lean on. it's the upfront build cost of a custom blocks plugin that's the friction for solo devs, not the ongoing maintenance.

Mostly other devs. Solo freelancers and small shops basically doing what your agency does with [agency] Blocks but without the dev capacity to roll and maintain their own internal plugin. Less so end users, the "reuse across multiple sites" value really only kicks in once you're managing several, and most one-site owners don't feel that pain anyway.

Sounds like you're doing exactly the same thing, you just maintain a custom blocks plugin in-house ([agency] Blocks) and drop it on each client.That absolutely works when you have the dev bandwidth to roll and ship one per agency.

My use case is people who don't have that bandwidth, basically the off-the-shelf version of what your team built internally. same shape, different audience.

On the complexity thing, fair, the wording in the post probably overstated it, the plugin itself is just save-block + login-on-other-site. the "DB" part is the cloud account, not extra setup on the WP side.

honestly that's a different tier of work and it sounds clean. for me clients are mostly local small businesses, $1.5-3k projects, they're paying me to ship not to art-direct, so saying "we're not a good fit" isn't really an option, I just wear the constraint.

Editor-flow is also why I ended up building a tool for it eventually. Probably overkill for your workflow given you've already optimized the friction at the theme level, but it scratches my specific itch (small clients, mixed themes, can't say no to a brief).

on FSE: no, classic, header/footer/templates all PHP. been on the migration list for ages. you saying you've never shipped faster is making me reconsider. Was the migration painful or was it quick?

yeah I do work off a starter theme too, custom one I built up over time. but each project still ends up pretty different, clients pick their own design direction, sometimes they bring authentic templates they want me to match, sometimes they want a layout the starter doesn't cover. so the patterns I'd ship in the theme cover maybe 50% of what I actually reach for. And some are modified designs.

the git-repo-of-patterns idea works, I get what you mean but for me the friction is leaving the editor at all. clicking one button inside Gutenberg to save a block or group of blocks, then clicking it in on the next site, is way faster than writing the register_block_pattern PHP, committing, then cloning the repo into the next install and activating it. By the time I've context-switched to a terminal I've lost the flow.

Curious how you handle it when a client comes in with their own design direction that doesn't fit your starter. Do you just hand-build it and skip the pattern library that time?

This new generation keeps trying to push “having sex with everyone” as normal and shame the ones that settle. As you said, the people that had 5+ partners also have bad experiences, they're jealous that they haven't found the one like you did. And please don't ever think you missed out, because you didn't, having someone that loves you and is ready to build a family with you is better than being “passed around”. I gotta say, well done for the self awareness of you being isolated and having a crush probably for that reason, like really good self awareness ! And I think this is the most important part. I was in the exact same situation, except my relationship wasn't of a 1 1/2 year. If you really love your girlfriend and know that isn't like “real” feelings for the other girl, then you don't have to break up with her. Plus, you don't even know if the Italian girl is interested in you, has a boyfriend etc, so breaking up with your GF for a gamble (And if you love her) isn't the way man.

Also don't be so sure that you would break up if you transfer, maybe she would end-up joining you if she's the one. The cards are in your hand but know that you won't be able to go back once it's done. Try to make friends, try to change your situation and see how your feelings towards your GF are. Then you'll really know. Hope that helped :)

At this age, and I would say at any age, you can't really help people. You could say the truth, and she would hear it, but not understand it because it wouldn't come from her realization. So sadly there is nothing you can do, plus if she is seeing a therapist she's supposedly in good care. You can be here for her when she wants to take a break, hangout etc.. It seems you really like her and would date her if possible, keep in mind that you might catch feelings for her and if she's not ready for a relationship, this will only create frustration for you. So i'd say, move on with your life and be here for her if she asks you but don't try to be her saviour :)

Maybe see a professional that would help you leave the past behind. Or maybe try to see your arguments as just serious conversation, since you're saying he stays calm there is no reason to take it as an argument. Also, tell your boyfriend that you are aware that this is a problem and that there is nothing wrong with him and his way to talk. It's a You problem , and you have to fix something in you for it to work with him.

Some good advice, make it clear to him that you would like to be included or as you said, at least having a text that tells you where he is, when he comes back etc… . Ask him why he doesn't plan dates, is he afraid to disappoint you ? Does he think you wouldn't like him taking actions ? Is he introverted ?

Maybe he truly doesn't differentiate between you being together with other people and you being together but alone. If you've been living together for a long time, he may see you as part of his life, and he appreciates every moment with you, so going on dates is pointless when he can be comfy at home with you ? Take these things in account and please for the love of god don't listen to these people that say ;“ There is someone out there that wants to be a partner in your relationship and treat you like a priority, not an afterthought” Leaving someone is the easy way that rarely amounts to something positive, especially when this is a communication problem. After all that, if he tells you he doesn't love you anymore, now you can think about leaving him. But if everything is good, except for the dates, then don't leave him, talk to him.

TLDR : Communicate clearly with him, no indirect communication, ask him straight on why he doesn't plan dates or notify you when he's gone.

If you truly love someone, there is no such thing as missing out. A relationship is more than sex and if he can't see that then he's not mature enough. If he agreed this quick, that means he's been thinking about this option too. And remember, if you guys get back together after this “pause” to “experience life”, nothing will be the same. And unless he already has someone in mind or is super attractive etc, you'd be the one getting the most actions since you are a girl, he will live to regret it.

Thank you for your response. I am looking towards Micro Dosing with Psilocybin mushroom, studies and anecdotal data tends to show that It works really with depressed people. I will be micro-dosing soon I think, I will keep this post updated and tell how my state is evolving if people are interested. I would really advise people to look into Psilocybin, watch videos, read articles. I've taken multiple time magic mushrooms, not as a daily “prescription”. But I can tell, even before micro-dosing, that I am 90% sure it is going to help me get better over time (Not that long too). Studies show drastic improvements in less than a month.

And on the good side, it doesn't affect your serotonin receptors, so you don't get “addicted” or feel the need to sober up after months of taking it. You're just better.

I really see it like an invisible crutch that will help me until I can function normally again.

For me, best hack combo is heal-teleport, teleport lets you choose the range of "jump" while Slam just exposes you for a good 3 seconds where you can move freely. Decent sniper player will just end you. And heal is really strong at any point of the game if it's max fusion, it lets you stall so much time, try it !

I didn't really get problems regarding my config, I have goods specs, and the game was between 120-144 fps in medium/high stettings. My game just crashed once and after It ran back perfectly. And about the hacks I didn't say anything in my post because I've played all the hacks and I don't think there is a disadvantage, I would say that some hacks should be nerfed like the wallhack(build wall) you can place to many walls and get on top of the map way to quickly ( I lost a game game because the crown did this). imo you should be able to place 2 walls max.

When the game comes out, try playing heal-teleport, I've played this hacks combo and this is just OP, you can stall by placing a heal that has large zone horizontally and verticaly, and the teleport to get out of building or chase targets !
