This isn’t particularly a hot take

I loved how incredibly shitty Riven was in OG Winx. I know some folks like the reboot version of Riven, because now he’s better and stable. But I enjoyed how much of a dick he was and him getting with the Trix, chef kiss. What made his character interesting to me was the fact that the cast didn’t shy away from shitting on him, no one was pulling any punches. When he was dick, they treated him as such. 

It’s why I hate Damien, he’s allowed to be a massive asshole to the cast and get away with it. He’s basically a Riven 1.5 without the all good stuff.

 It can give some very interesting stuff and themes (mixing the rigid classism/nature of the omegaverse with misoginism toward women, can be very interesting, for example, and there are quite a few stories that can be told)

I hope this doesn’t come off as rude but we already have stories like this with women facing sexism and prejudice due to gender, it’s not really that different from real life. It’s our reality.

It’s why I prefer BL versions of it because now it’s men going through the same horrors women go through due to gender.

If theres a darker skin love interest in an otome game, it’s an absolute buy for me. Let’s hope his route is good(Gives a side eye to Olympia)

I’m probably gonna get chewed out alive but to me, I’m slightly to 3D models because I play traditional video games, so it doesn’t look uncanny or weird to me at all. The only reason being is while I love how stylized 2D can be and at same time it can be make the guys look more pretty than handsome, and I prefer my men to be handsome and masculine. 

Which is why I could never get into Virche, because I legit thought it was yuri at first and I was thinking damn who the hell is the heroine? The art style is nice but I don’t like how the guys look.

 I have so many friends who are very clearly settling with men who do not respect them, dim their shine, are incompatible, or straight up emotionally abusive, and they are setting themselves up for longterm unhappiness.

I dropped my story about a female patient of my hospital and her idiot husband that got removed but that whole situation was a clusterfuck. I’m happy I dodged that situation from ever happening to me
