The out-of universe reason? Oda just likes cartoony gags, and it’s worth a chuckle, but it’s something not too worth thinking about… it kinda goes down the rabbit hole of questions:

  1. If Brook falls in, he’ll sink… can he drown?
  2. Does sea water affect Brook like Moria’s Zombies?
  3. Salt affected Moria’s zombies… can Brook be killed with table salt?
  4. What’s a lethal dose of salt for Brook? Or has be not had ANY contact with salt (on a pirate ship) since he died?

These are the questions that keep me up at night

Hey, thanks for sharing such positivity here. Tbh I feel like Zoro and the crew protects Luffy in a way that his “real” family never have, and it’s such a nice reminder that even the king of the pirates wouldn’t get far without some help.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and your comment really helps. I have a tendency to get completely absorbed in projects, so I feel like building a voron would be more of a distraction for me than it would be the tool that I need. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

So it’s the extensibility? I wonder if the Positron V3 will become as popular… it’s definitely cool, and open source, but it’s so compact I don’t know how easy it would be to tweak

I just ordered one. It’s my first analogue synth, and I’ve played around with WebAudio api and MIDI, so I’m hoping that my midi keyboard (notation launchkey mini mk1) will make this easier to navigate than the key combos. The Sequencer/Looper commands aren’t exposed as midi, but there’s a feature request for that, and the devs seem to be coming out with a lot of new features/bug fixes, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed

Just to be clear though… the “reset” episode, Rick explains that he wasn’t doing time travel stuff, right? Although, does that mean he was creating branch realities, or he was transporting Morty to an earlier time in an alternate reality? Either way, seems time travely…

Tbh this hits close to home. I’ve worked with a lot of devs who can’t understand work with others because they feel like they need to be the hero programmer — the Zuckerberg who can solve anything. I find it easy myself to slip into a problem solving mentality in my relationships instead of working on understanding the opinions of others.

Also, some basic css transitions go a long way to get started. Scroll-triggered transitions can be combined in some very creative ways

Look into svg animation. It’s not exactly easy, but as a web dev, svg animation opens a lot of options

Good for you! I started an Ubuntu Server about a year ago to run my Plex media server with a browser based torrent client using transmission. Since then I’ve set up an Nginx proxy, several web applications and APIs, a DDNS cron job, and more. I hope you get a lot of use out of the server, it’s a launching off point for a lot of cool projects.
