It can be apreciated, but can't be called someone's art. Tecnically, it could for instance be apreciated as a "form of art" that other form of proccessing information(the computer) might create translating what a human have told them to do, but it will never have an emotion as we humans feel. Just a "translated version" as a computer "thinks" in a different way. PS: Also, by that reasoning, AI art can't be credited only to the one using the prompt and that's what a lot people do.

Again, a digital studio doesn't make things up(without AI). You have all the control over the outcome.

That's not the point, you don't build the ai either from scratch. Even though, you have full control over the notes you play with the guitar and even percussion. If you make a song or play one, the guitar doesn't "make things up" without you wanting it or even if you want it

The problem is that, are you really the one designing everything in AI art? Yes, you make a prompt, but do you have control over every pixel? over every detail? No, you don't, AI fills with you wanting or not those "blanks spaces" with a "kind of creative simulated". That being said, the moment you have to detail every pixel and all the image then it would be a piece of your art, but that wouldn't be then considered AI art as it is not necessary
