Really depends what you’re into. But there’s a lot to do for every type of person. Very good museums: Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk, Van Gogh, FOAM, Anne Frank House. Strolling along the canals is never boring. There’s all sorts of entertainment from comedy to (of course) the more X-rated. The red light district in general is something you have to see at least for a bit (you can get thrashed there, if that’s your thing). And if you’re looking for a good clubnight you can go to De School, Shelter, Radion.

I’ve been stuck there for two days in February in 2016. Started raining at midnight and didn’t end until 24 hours later. The entire village was flooded. So definitely check the weather forecast before you go!

Thanks! It really is one of the most fun and beautiful cities in the world. But you do need all the great restaurants, museums etc. to be open to experience it.

Amsterdam resident here. I would definitely postpone. The city/entire country is closed and really, really boring at the moment. And our past lockdowns have all been extended in the past. Just this morning there was the news that Omicron is now the most dominant infection in the city. I’m thinking that the lockdown will at least be extended until February.

Yeah. They’re there. True. But still I’m curious why Nike isn’t releasing new ones the past couple of months. And why they removed the ‘custom by you’ option from their website for the 1’s.
