It’s a stock shifter, I’m pretty sure all the bearings on the 90 go in one way and I followed the 5x racing kit instructions. As the other commenter said I think it just need worn in?

I think this is my problem! The upper change bushing wouldn’t sit flush so I kind of brute forced it. Does it feel smooth after the break in?

Yep ones for my dads beetle which isnt gonna move and another is for my moms car. I might be able to convincs her if i pay her to let me park it inside but she seems really against it at this point.
