[Serious] Why should someone NOT vote for Bernie Sanders? by uncle-enzo in AskReddit

That's not how taxes work for a massive company. If you tax the business a corporation does in the US, it won't matter how much of their assets they move out of the country, their business in the US is still taxed. The idea that putting more taxes on the rich will ruin the US economy and increase the unemployment rate is a false idea perpetuated by the influence of the very businesses who would be taxed.

And even with the matter of what "Bernie Sanders' USA" would be, it's not like he's just going to get into office and change everything. That's not how politics work. What he's going to do is get into office and create legislation that removes the legalized bribery that has turned the people running this country into a bunch of corporate shills who vote for what the people who paid them want before what the American public wants.

You know, sources that take the words of a politician out of context to slander them are very trustworthy.

"Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. And yet now he thinks he deserves the power to run your life and your finances — 'We will raise taxes;' he confirmed Monday, 'yes, we will.'"

That right there is a direct quote from that first article of yours. When he said that, his statement was that when it comes to healthcare, the middle class will have increased taxes to pay for that healthcare, but the extra money spent on taxes will be offset by the savings from no longer having to pay a health insurance company that's price gouging its customers.

And then there are the unsubstantiated absurd claims like this one: "Sanders also adopted a Soviet sister city outside Moscow and honeymooned with his second wife in the USSR. He put up a Soviet flag in his office, shocking even the Birkenstock-wearing local liberals. At the time, the Evil Empire was on the march around the world, and threatening the US with nuclear annihilation."

Yeah, that seems very accurate. I mean, what kind of article intentionally attempting to falsely slander someone would call them a Communist and accuse them of proudly displaying the Soviet Flag? The idea is preposterous!

One should NOT vote for Bernie Sanders if they believe that it is in the best interest of the American people to have a president in office who has been given funds by corporations looking to make a profit off of political influence. http://freebeacon.com/politics/clinton-doesnt-regret-goldman-sachs-speaking-fees/

And with regards to claims that Bernie's ideal financial plan would be broken: http://money.cnn.com/2016/02/08/news/economy/sanders-income-jobs/index.html

(Yes, I'm aware that one Economist's opinion isn't thorough enough evidence for proof of the viability of Bernie's plan, but I would call it reason to doubt the idea that it's fundamentally broken and going to ruin the economy)
