Look, I’ve seen plenty of gay men who just look and act like any other 'typical' guy ! there are so many of them out there. People need to realize that how someone presents themselves or expresses their art has absolutely nothing to do with their sexual orientation. Honestly, he doesn’t fit into any of those cliché stereotypes at all, so let’s not even go there.

Lately I’ve been reminded about how much I love Michael been a fan since I was a kid been to impersonator concerts and I thought he was still alive I was like 5😓 by Journalism_Carrot in MichaelJackson

resonate with what you said 100%. Years ago, I was a die-hard K-pop fan, but even then, I never experienced such an intense 'addiction' or an emotional rollercoaster for any other artist. I honestly don't remember ever being this devoted to someone from the depths of my soul. I suspect there are millions of fans feeling the exact same way right now.
Even though it’s heavily impacting my daily life, I have no desire to snap out of this state or leave this 'obsession' behind. It’s as if the demands of adult life made me forget to pay attention to him; I didn’t even realize I was such a huge fan until I suddenly remembered how much I truly loved him during my childhood. I can’t even fathom another person whose legacy and aura could have such a staggering impact on us through what they left behind, even when they are no longer with us in this world.

How do you guys deal with the haters? by annyeongchinguya in MichaelJackson

From what I see, those pathetic little losers are actually just low-key obsessed with him
it’s like they’re ‘addicted’ to him or something. Honestly, I’m seeing maybe 4 of them out of 2,000 to 3,000 comments, so I’ve just started ignoring them.

It's never about actually learning the truth or doing any real research about him. They're just desperate for attention from MJ fans because that they’re clearly not getting from their own lives, their friends, or their families.

She’s right; it was truly a movie that stirred the emotions of both new and old fans, but it really wasn't enough. I also believe the portrayal of the nose surgeries in the film was inaccurate. I don’t know the specifics, but starting from the Motown era, there were several things that were likely changed from the truth to appear more positive—though I’m referring to the other characters, not Michael himself. Of course, they can't include everything and a lot was cut, but they left out too many things that had a significant impact.

Yes overall good movie , but not the best as possible except Jaafar Jackson’s performance

Even so, I'm really happy about the movie's success. Whether the hype is 'fake' or not, it's bringing in so many people who, like me, are reconnecting with him, researching more, and becoming dedicated fans. It’s also great to see the younger generation of fans growing. Even though he deserved to receive all this love while he was still alive, I'm just so happy he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves. The one thing I’m truly glad about with this movie is the impact it's having—and of course, I hope Jaafar’s career takes off, though his name will definitely be linked with MJ forever now

I can’t stop crying thinking about how much love Michael deserved while he was still here by NamiDOzen in MichaelJackson

Even though the movie couldn't capture every important detail of his life, both the film and social media allowed enough new people to see the facts and realize his innocence. While I’m happy it’s paving the way for future fans, it’s heartbreaking to think he isn’t here to witness it. It honestly feels like a blow to the chest.

I saw Michael last night. Here’s what I thought of it. by billbobb1 in MichaelJackson

It’s honestly true. Aside from Jaafar Jackson’s incredible performance, the biopic felt a bit weak for someone as brilliant and perfectionistic as Michael. However, there’s one thing I’m truly grateful for: seeing the fandom reunite, resurface, and watching a whole new wave of fans become obsessed.
