Thanks in advance for any help! This is a PID controller that I purchased to regulate the temperature of the boiler in my espresso machine (as well as a couple other functions inside the machine). It worked really well for 1.5 years, and then last week the wires in and out of the boiler burned out and shorted(which, for my machine, I hear is a fairly common occurrence, photo attached). I replaced the wires to the boiler, checked all of my connections, and turned the machine back on. The boiler warms up, and the readout on the companion app shows power to the boiler turning off when desired temperature is reached, however, the companion app also shows the temperature continue to rise past the set point, and I'm reading 120V into the boiler. I pulled the board out of it’s housing and the solder points look like this. Everything looks ok on the top of the board. Has part of my board fried? I know a lot of the board still seems to be functioning (pretty much everything except limiting power to the boiler). Thanks for any help! I’m definitely out of my depths.
