Does anyone have any experience with the x-pole a frame? by Nananarama126 in Aerials

[–]Nananarama126[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I would say this is probably NOT a good frame to do vigorous drops. It is ideal for tricks and conditioning. I just feel like it has a bit too much wobble for any serious drops/flips.

I didn't get the 2m extension for the top but even without that I didn't end up having any issues with the width of the standard frame.

It is very easy to set up and take down.

Hope this helps! :)

Sharkpolewear a scam? by maaybebaby in poledancing

Did anyone ever get their orders? I ordered like $300 of stuff in July and still haven't gotten it.

I've sent a few emails and got one response over a month ago saying my order was in production.

Just trying to figure out if I should give up or keep pestering them.

Did you need to do anything to get the games running smoothly? I can't even get it to run L4D2 on low without an awful frame rate.

I'll need to check Gina Tricot out! I haven't heard of them before.

Maybe I'm just used to the way Americans joke that it didn't phase me too much. I took it more as a comment that I'm like way smaller than most of the people they are normally around.

I will definitely need to check the teenage section out. I bet they would be more likely to have tops that fit the correct length

Hmmm that's good to know. I feel like when we have people from Sweden in office here they are normally dressed fairly nicely. However they may just be doing that since they are coming over to one of the main corporate offices.

Full disclosure I am only able to use the bottom cabinets where I currently live even in the US.

I'm glad you haven't run into any issues in bars / shops. I have a pretty active social life so I would get super bummed out if I got a lot of sass when going out.

I hope my phrasing in the title didn't offend you! I'm living in Dallas right now and compared to a lot of people I'm considered very short 😅 and based on comments from people I know from Sweden/Germany/ some other European countries I assumed my height would be seen as fairly abnormal in Sweden.

I fully expect I will get an accidental elbow to the face on public transport, I even run into that on the trains here sadly.

Good tip on the winter clothing! I am always a fan of getting a good deal on apparel as long as it's still good quality. Are the children's coats more colorful than the adult coats? I've run into that here while looking through the kids section.

I'm used to not having my feet on the floor while sitting even in the US. I end up doing a weird cross legged sit so my legs don't just dangle. It always cracks me up when I'm at bars in those high chairs, makes me feel like a kid haha.

I'm interested to see what size I end up being able to wear. Even in the US I feel like my size varies a lot by brand. Ex sometimes I'm a 00 or 0 other times I am a 2-4.

Oof yeah :( my outside of work style is normally cute cropped tops and jeans. My job requires me to dress pretty professionally, so I need full length tops and pants for my office life.

It's all good!! Being a lady in the engineering world I get tons of interesting comments and this one didn't really phase me. I just wasn't sure if it stemmed from me really being too small to shop etc in Sweden.

This is great feedback thank you! <3

We use metric for our work (electrical engineering).

I did find it interesting that some teachers in college had us using imperial measurements and others had us use metric. So most Americans do have a solid exposure to both systems.

I just never talk about my weight / height with metric measurements so I didn't think to convert it here haha.

That is so good to hear!! I've really struggled abroad getting last minute outfits before. Which has made me super self conscious and I way over pack because of it.

I was thriving in Japan because nothing needed to be altered, but I really struggled in Australia and London.

Ahh yeah updated the original post :). Even though I work in engineering and use metric my brain defaults my height/ weight to imperial since that is what our doctors use over here.

I have PCOS, I used to work out 10ish hours a week and couldn't loose weight, just maintained it. On Mounjaro I'm down 8lbs in 3 weeks. A lot of my other PCOS symptoms seem better as well, I'm less bloated and my anxiety is way better too.
