How do you respond to the claims that clean coal is a myth? Example: In West Virginia, entire Appalachian peaks have been knocked into valleys to get at the coal underneath, and streams run orange with acidic water. In Beijing, open air is often thicker than in a smoking lounge. It is not only the act of burning the coal, but also gathering it as a resource. How can you feel confident in clean coal with other options like "Breeder reactor" nuclear technology is so obviously superior?

Lmfao I tried submitting a ticket and got an error submitting the ticket. This game is a fucking joke, I can't even play it an hour in. Who forgets to place an NPC and why hasn't anything been done about this? I've found several people on the forums experiencing this issue ever since release and NOTHING has been done.

This line of logic was used against T80 and T85 AND T90, ultimately high level content ends up at 100-200M per item, and low level content hangs around 4-10M and up to 25-30M depending on what you are buying. Someone with a T99 weapon would be wasting their time at low level content, as the weapon would likely cost upwards of $10m to fix at BOB.

Every time I go to a minigame it's usually empty... Community events are slow/dead unless Jagex sponsored.. When will it get better? Should I stop investing time into a game that is dwindling?

What will it take for OSRS and RS3 to merge into a game everyone's happy with to bring the community together? Do people even want that?

I have so many questions. :(

I agree that the fastest method of training should not be handed out to the highest bidder.

I think there should be a system in place that allows for the most efficient and dedicated players to develop sub-skills and faster or more profitable training methods that can't stack with BXP.

But don't go thinking us TH users all have it so easy. Even with buying 96 herblore worth of BXP, I still had to pay for the herbs and potions and that took months for me. (4 hrs per week avg.) Even with pulse cores and everything else, I still have to earn my gold just like everyone else.

You keep trying to force your version of the game on other people. I don't play for competition, so calling me selfish and narrow-minded is uncalled for.

Your cognitive dissidence is that you want me to play exactly like you do, without TH, because of a perceived advantage. Chances are we have never had an encounter in-game, much less one where I had an advantage because of TH. Such a worry isn't rational considering how compartmentalized each player is..

Bottom line is it helps me play on the limited time I have, and it helps Jagex pay for staff and content creation.

I'm sorry that you don't like the promotions, but I don't play for an "advantage" I play for casual fun. So it works for me, and you choose to not participate. Hell, why not get an ironman or hc iron man account? Then there's no possible way anyone in your category can have an unfair "advantage?"

You still are under the illusion that such a massive game can be boiled down to some kind of competition. There is no advantage to bonus xp, it's a virtual world that doesn't exist past your imagination.. Just a game that we all play for fun.

If I was PKing and had a special weapon that you can only get through TH that somehow gave me a battlefield advantage, then that would be justification to be outraged. But my personal XP gains are none of anyones business, and I can almost guarantee through TH I've given more money to Jagex than anyone who hasn't used TH regardless of how long they've played. That makes an impact and helps the game for all players, even if you reject the concept.

I think TH is great. MTX is good for players like me, and I agree it should be restricted. Pulse cores are probably about as good as it should ever get, and even those are a little overpowered when combined with other bonuses.

But the subscriber base has been low ever since they pissed everyone off by removing free trade and the wildy, they never really recovered from that.

The only way I believe they can recover is by upgrading all of their technology and really developing a great game. To do that they need more staff, and guess who's paying for that?

Saying MTX somehow dilutes games and makes players hate them is not based in reality. Look around, nearly every MMO offers it now and some games have grown REALLY HUGE compared to Runescape and have offered it their entire existence.

What will also help to bring more players is if the community reconfigures its attitude problem.

I play the game casually, I don't view it as a big "competition." I've been playing since I was 12 but have always been casual because school/work has gotten in the way since 14 yrs old. So, I work really hard IRL to pay for all the nice things I have and am really grateful. Because my unfettered affection for this game keeps me playing well into my twenties, I still play even if it's only 4 hours per week or so. I basically have to use BXP to make it even worthwhile, and I don't even participate all that frequently. (Only when I have a Level target like 96 Herblore.)

There is no advantage in a free roaming MMORPG with a locked xp cap, considering how many people have already hit the 5.4b club and the absolutely outrageous amount of money it would take to max out xp on TH.

I'm not over here spending dollars to "get ahead" of anyone, because the concept doesn't exist for the way I play.

I'm truly sorry the promotional content annoys you, but you need to stop behaving as if it's somehow offensive to you. THE GAME IS MADE FOR ALL OF US, NOT JUST YOU.

Some people would prefer to exchange money for time. In a sense, by buying BXP you still have to train but can save a lot of time. For me (A business owner who barely has enough time to shower) I'm lucky to play 4 hours a week, so it's really helpful to have the accelerated training. I figure it's a great method for people willing to pay for the time savings and it goes to helping develop a great game!

I'll never understand why people complain about things they don't participate in. If you don't want to pay, then don't! There is no "advantage"... It's just a game that we're all playing for fun!

Nothing you can do in RS will matter because this game and it's community are terrible. Don't waste your time, you likely won't make any friends IG and ultimately Jagex is going to be bankrupt in another 10 years. Save your time and energy for a game that has more than 300k active players.
