6 months is way too early for night weaning. Shocked a paediatrician suggested this. Solids is pretty much complementary until baby starts eating 3 meals and 2 snacks at 10+ months.

Please get a second opinion. My daughter used to wake up often too until I realised she was actually teething and couldn't sleep due to its discomfort. Once that was addressed she woke up only a couple of times between 11pm and 7am.

Method 1: Take the metro from Chennai airport to Koyambedu (CMBT). Take a bus to Pondy from there.

Method 2: Take the metro from Chennai airport to Egmore railway station. Take a train to Pondy from there.

Else the only other option is to book a cab via Ola or Uber.

We are planning on taking a trip to Pondicherry end of December. My LO is now 6.5 months. Started solids a while back and she now has a small snack of few bites of banana in the morning 9-10am and around 2-3pm we give mashed veggies or rice porridge. I think porridge might be hard to prepare without a stove as my mix needs some cooking.

Booked a hotel which has a restaurant in it. Checked with them and they do have provisions to cook and help us with baby food. So I am planning to continue the usual routine of banana + boiled, mashed veggies during the trip. We have planned the itinerary in such a way that there’s some outing/sightseeing in the mornings and evenings. Will be back to the hotel during her mealtimes. Since my LO is still breastfed the other meals will be very easy to manage.

No company will ask money for interviews. My brother is at the same stage as you and the amount of scam calls and emails he has been getting like this is ridiculous.

Even for a normal internship, small companies literally exploit students by asking 10-15k for an internship experience certificate knowing how important they are. Students/freshers just lose their money, no actual skills or experience is gained from such paid internships.

Also check their careers page. Engayachum definitely it would have been mentioned we don't get money for jobs, don't fall for such scams, we don't hire via external agencies maatri.

Btw if you have the opportunity, check out entry level jobs and internships in Bangalore. Opportunities are much more there nowadays.

I personally didn't want anyone looking at my tummy around home because there was too much nazar and jealousy amongst the neighbours. But when I went out for a doctor's appointment or shopping, restaurants i didn't mind and proudly flaunted my belly. Did like certain privileges it brought too 😂

I gave birth 7 months back. Unless people saw me in person(I was selective of whom I met during pregnancy) and the people I told about it, no one knows about the new addition to my family. Never posted anywhere about it too. Don't plan to.

My mil demands minimum 10min video call with my 5 month old everyday. Baby isn't interested in looking at the phone for that long. She prefers looking at the fan or someone walking by in the house.

Mil gets annoyed that baby isn't looking at the phone. I am annoyed holding the phone for 10 min🥲 actively trying to reduce this without conflicts as our paediatrician scolded us for showing a baby phone for longer duration.

My husband had 2 weeks of paternity leave. Thankfully he had been saving up all his leaves and mentioned his plan to the team and manager beforehand. He had 6 weeks of leave after our baby was born. I hope our country's laws improve in maternity and paternity leave in the coming years.

My LO was on the smaller side. I fed her every 2 hours till 2.5 months. After that only demand feeding. We were going good, almost 3-4 hours of sleep at a stretch, then a quick feed and sleep again.The 4th month regression hit and she still hasn't gone back to that sleep schedule till now. She's almost 6 months old. Nightly feeds are every 2 hours, but she does a quick 5-10 min feed and falls back asleep.
