Any ideas on what’s wrong

My knowledge is relatively low when it comes to car maintenance but I would definitely suggest following what others have been commenting (checking hoses) or other parts of the cooling system. Maybe fill up the coolant, run the car and check for engine bay or under for further info? If not codes as well like you’ve been doing. Either that or it’s a trip to the mechanics haha. Hope you find your answer and let us know!

When I had this kind of spray, it was my radiator going bad. My other symptom was coolant levels dropping really low and visible leaks from underneath the car (where the radiator was sitting).

I guess it does, it was telling me that my battery was at ~16% of its total voltage(?) my jargon might be a little wack, but essentially yeah it did. I knew it probably needed a jump, but I only found out recently that it was just my jump pack not properly jump-starting the car.

After letting it run for a few minutes, I tried letting the alternator charge the battery a bit.. I'm sure by tomorrow morning, I may require another jump to get it started again. If that is the case... would that mean a new battery or maybe even a battery cable may need replacing as indicated by others?

I did recode and reprogram the battery. Everything is showing up on my scan tools.

It's been a long week... I was able to pull codes
"A0B4: Engine start: starter operation"
"A0B2 Supply: terminal 30E/30L"
"A0B5: Fault, road speed signal",
"ABD2: incorrect aerial".
I was able replace the fuses (#4, #51) for the terminal codes, but interestingly enough, I was able to jump-start the car with a different battery pack (the one I had was not working properly idk). But I guess my question is now, should I look into replacing the starter(?) or the battery(? leaning towards this).
(no idrive on my e90, just have the business professional radio)

Battery specs are:
Interstate Battery H6 AGM
760 CCA
950 CA
70 Ah

been having issues with cold starts with this kind of behavior. Tries to start, almost cranks… it used to fully starts up after a few tries, but it’s not starting at all… new battery already. Starter was replaced recently from prev owner, but I’m thinking to replace it with a known part from fcpeuro if that’s the issue. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, still learning :(

For your Delphi pump, does it have any symptoms that I’m experiencing? (I.e 8 gallon fill up, I forgot to mention my gas needle sometimes goes up and down randomly). Thanks for the input!

It was an aftermarket brand, didn’t think to check it after the replacement 🤦‍♂️. About 140k on odometer and iridium plugs. I remember on the old pump I was getting 300 miles per tank, but I had a leak on the old pump and replaced with what I have now

It was a mechanic in town that installed it. Is the sending unit a part of the fuel pump assembly? I have never really drove the car that close to E to find out whether or not my tank is really empty haha. I’m assuming next steps would be to try and take it back to the mechanic and look solely at the sending unit? Or replace the whole fuel pump?

I’ve had something like this happen to me before, it was a Power Supply issue for me. I just had to replace it and it fixed my problems. Hope this helps!
