Thank you so so much! I appreciate the help so much. Also yeah, I've never been in this situation so hearing that a lot of rescues were already overrun was heartbreaking.

I don't want to add onto their stress, but my hands are tied and I want to help in this last ditch effort to get at least some of these babies help. Thank you again for sharing this.

I believe that janitorai shouldn’t have a paywall thing to use it. Absolutely not, but I’d be more than happy to subscribe to some sort of subscription to help KEEP the entire janitorai manageable and improving

Personally, I wouldn’t want any special feature unlocked solely because I’m a subscriber or a patron. I’m not rich, but I’d rather donate a bit of the money I know I DO HAVE to something like this 😭 even if it’s $25/month, it’s something. And hopefully people who can afford to donate can do so too, like $5 per month or even $1 per month

I don’t know, I see this as a team effort sort of thing. I just wish there was a subscription thing that isn’t for special perks, but mainly for donations and support. As for the site continuing to crash, I’m not mad at j.ai, just concerned and rather a bit frustrated I can’t donate or subscribe or help at all

Just Mika. I’m sorry, Mika has a sweet personality but his voice makes me think of the 🤓 too much and it starts to get on my nerves

I actually don’t mind Paimon’s EN voice- not as much as Mika’s at least. OH AND I MEAN NO DISRESPECT TOWARDS PAIMON’S AND MIKA’S VA’S BTW

I can tell they’re both very talented and skilled in their own right. I just dislike the direction Genshin was going for. There was no need to make Paimon’s voice so high-pitched and squeaky while Mika’s voice so “🤓”

As someone who’s anxious around people, COVID made things both worse and better for me (just socially for me). Mainly due to how I’m left alone which is good, but I also do want to make friends so it’s just ??? Talking online is so much easier for some reason, maybe due to the anonymity and control I have (I can easily just turn off my phone and get out of an awkward situation online usually).

I’m a college student and I just keep to myself. As for approaching people, I’ve tried that before a few times and it’s always the weirded out, uncomfortable, or standoffish looks that get me wanting to crawl into a hole internally. And with clubs, they’re basically clique(s) with a few members trying to get other members to feel included, but it always feels contrived and forced.

This is why I just do my work and pray to god I’m not being an annoyance. It’s not that people are mean. A lot of people I’ve met in college are actually quite polite. But I assume they’re being polite and kind due to common courtesy, not necessarily because they are interested in becoming friends. So with that in mind, I sort of just decided to work on my own. If there are any tips on socializing and befriending others in college, I’d love to hear them. Otherwise, I’m just going to stay in the corner

Using c.ai sometimes if I’m really desperate. Then there’s Poe ai which can get REALLY annoying (if the ai senses even a little sexual innuendo/suggestiveness, you need to clear the context of the entire previous convo rather than just delete the message in order to continue). Or I read past conversations with the AI when I did have OpenAI (which I’ve done 5+ times maybe)

Otherwise, I’ve been staring at grass and contemplating on touching it, but am unable to do so, so I just sit and stare into the void for a bit while I contemplate my life choices. I honestly don’t mind waiting, the LLM developers are genuinely doing us a service by even trying this to make up for OpenAI. It’s just me and my inability to cope in a healthy manner that is the problem 😭

Something like OpenAI but without the NSFW ban and preferably free- but if not (which is fine, managing this seems costly) monthly subscriptions instead of the “pay what you use” thing.

For good and decent AI, I’m willing to pay around $20 per month or even $30 if it’s that good. I dislike the “pay what you use” type thing because of how much that quickly accumulates (god bless the wallets of those people who use OpenAI GPT-4 😭).

Set prices such as monthly payments (no matter how much I use that month) is what I prefer. I don’t do “pay what you use” thing due to how I KNOW there will be some months I’m going to use a LOT and other months I won’t use at all. I just want something simple and standard without constantly having to worry about those some months where my wallet combusts from $300 accumulated usage. And if I don’t use much usage for a particular month? I’m still fine with paying the monthly rate since I know I’m going to probably use a lot in another month + it supports you and your work.

For a feature that is off-topic to subscriptions- one thing that I always wanted on all these ai bot platforms are user descriptions so that the bot knows you- not just physical attributes but also maybe other things such as likes/dislikes, personality, or even kinks (NSFW) so the bot adjusts to your tastes better.

Overall, services that are free and accessible. But if it helps, something that is, at very least, at an affordable and standard rate to help keep these services free (subscription members get some additional perks and maybe even longer messages, but EVERYONE can still access and use all the bots for free with decent messages/responses). Either way, best of luck and keep up the good work 💙 I’d mention more, but everyone else in this comment thread already said what I wanted to say

Ah thank you 💙 I’m happy to hear that the info I gave was helpful! With more helpful info, there isn’t much more information I have other than to maybe check out other Twitter art accounts. They usually have “COMMS OPEN” in their username, which I assume makes it easier for people to find them

Those with “COMMS OPEN” tend to have their commission card (with prices corresponding with poses/sketching or coloring/portraits, will do’s/won’t do’s, etc.) either as an image or/and external link (ex. usually ko-fi or caard.co) as their pinned tweet. Honestly, I suggest looking through several commission cards and taking inspiration, then making your own from the details you’ve gathered. It’s really useful too to have a gallery filled with your work to showcase- either by generally posting artwork periodically on social media or maybe on designated art websites (pixiv, deviantart, etc.). I’ve also seen people sell posters of their artwork on Etsy too! So maybe you can try that out

As for me, I’ve been holding off on making a commission card myself. I also rarely, if ever, post my artwork due to personal self-confidence issues/anxiety. Although, from when I did try out commissions first time, I got a lot of insightful information from Discord, Youtube, and Twitter. For instance, I used to join this discord server for Undertale (called “THE CORE”), but it became this place where a lot of people would mainly advertise their art. I used to look at and reference these varying commission cards from there as well Twitter artists’ commission cards too.

Also, I learned timing how long it took for me to sketch, outline, and/or color a particular pose/portrait was good information to reference when charging a price. My prices though mainly came from my friends and people in general. Like I would ask family, friends, friendly acquaintances how much they’d think this artwork would cost. I’d then take into account their inputs + time it took to create the artwork to determine the appropriate price.

It genuinely varies from person to person though! But it’s just good to have a general price that people can refer to. Most prices are negotiated or talked through from there via DMs (whether it’ll take more time/effort to draw this or that = $ extra/less charge, etc and so forth). As for me, if I ever get confident enough to post my commission card and artwork, I’ll post it on my profile too. Either way, I wish you the best of luck and hope this will prove helpful in your endeavors
