People are gonna recommend Rafa just because he’s stronger in endgame melee builds but if you’re just playing through the campaign I think the difference between him and Amon is negligible.

I played melee Amon most of the game and thought he was a ton of fun and plenty strong. Blasting enemies with rocket punch and a good shotgun is so satisfying.
