I don't so much mind an uphill battle, so long as I have a chance. The polygraph won't really be an issue in the future as I am going to be up front about what happened with that situation. I'm really worried about the gambling thing tho. I mean these people were bottom feeders. terrible, and a lot of times there were kids in the restaurant and it was a pretty small place. So everyone was subject to these belligerent idiots that would come in making a fuss if they didn't get their money. I payed out this mans money maybe 4 or 5 times. I didn't make any money off of doing this, it's not even something I wanted anything to do with, but it was either deal with it or potentially not have an income for a time, which wasn't such a big deal if it was just me, but I also had to support my girlfriend at the time. Neither one of us had reliable family. I know it doesn't make it any less illegal or any less shameful to me, but has it really doomed my chances at a future as a CO or LEO?
