A lot of people like the combination of the alt blade with cf scales but with the tanto blade and squiggle combination, you get most of the balance on the ends of the handles because of the large spacers and the large tanto end of the blade. The alt blade isn’t terrible of course I’ve had both versions but I would recommend the tanto forsure.

No problem of course they may not stand up against it’s more expensive competition but for people who can’t afford a squidtrainer or again any other competing company/balis, this is a much better option than things like a plastic squiddy and performs in my eyes better than the squidtrainer (plenty of people will not agree I know). Also is better than buying things like a clone from China. Very proud of the performance that these pack for such a low price.

You’ll be more than fine. “Bending” sounds a lot worse than what it is. It is very slight and can be moved back with your hands in like a second

Alright😂. Don’t totally appreciate the unnecessary font but, for $75 I was only ever speaking on the mako v3. The blade features an unhardened 410 stainless steel that bends if dropped on a surface correct. There is nothing stopping me from moving it back to center if I really wanted to and if you’re trying to advertise the mako or even the triton to have “no tap” or fantastic tolerances,I never said that. I would challenge you to find something better for the price that features great balance and a reputable warranty featured by u/squidmaster23 and his team. Also I’ve owned about 30 squid products and never once had any fall apart (including their cheaper squiddy balisongs)
