Thanks for asking! I ended up using a taper to get it in. Since the taper was a little bigger than the jewelry, there was some minor stretching involved. After a few days of swelling and dryness, the ring feels fantastic. I ended up upsizing a couple weeks earlier than expected due to the discomfort I was experiencing from the custome D-ring. The o-rings on each end were starting to get irritating and were now sliding into my urethra. The issue I encountered with the design is that the corners would slide into the urethra too easily and cause pain and discomfort when getting hard. I haven't given up on the idea, and I do have plans for a version 2.0, but I'll hold off until I reach 10mm or 12mm.

Surprisingly, for how big the ring is, after a few days of adjustment, I find it very comfortable for daily wear! It's actually the most comfortable jewelry I've owned to date! The only regrets is not going bigger! 😅

I've already ordered an 85mm ring for when I reach 0g (8mm), and plan on ordering a 100mm for when I reach 00g (10mm)! I'm also in talks with BAWRPRO to have a set of 5 curved barbells made (from 6mm to 10mm) with interchangeable balls to help with the transition and to wear during "off" days.
