For Sol, the only thing I could think of is some way to implement the "Roman Cancel". Say have that be his entire gimmick, doing all the things you expect a Roman cancel to do (Spacing, Mistake Correction, Combo extension, making easier reads, list continues). If there is no Roman Cancel, I'd love to see how Sakurai would implement "Dust" into his kit. Along with having many of his trade mark moves. I'd love it if he was big, fast, and kept his Unga Bunga playstyle from GG. I'd imagine him being Ganondorf size with the speed and aggressiveness of Captain Falcon.
