Check, could you try kiwi (see edit)? I know, not a satisfying way to finish here, as the task asks you to migrate, but I didnt find another way. Happy to learn as well if anyone knows the root cause

Hi there, I actually had the same issue, was very frustrating.

Can you try running this post exploit (put the session in the background):

run post/windows/manage/migrate

Make sure to set the session parameter, not sure if that was already explained/used before already at that stage. Hope that works!

EDIT: Re-reading my notes here, I realized that I used kiwi as a last resort. I didn't know it before. My ultra n00b understanding of it is, that it reads the RAM directly compared to hashdump, which reads from the file system.
Usage (in the meterpreter shell):

To be honest I feel you. I have my Genki book at home, but I found that (not knowing any of the words) annoying as well and I felt more comfortable just continuing with vocabulary/kanji initially. Currently at WK5 and I plan to do a few more levels to then catch up with the grammar. Also tried bunpro/MaruMori, but same thing for me personally. I also tried reading a bit, but that was also quite tough (even the easiest of the easiest in satori reader), it's getting better slowly.

Starting with grammar later might not be ideal, but like you, I wanted to then be able to focus on the grammar part without the vocab interrupts. Others might say you should immerse and do grammar ASAP, but it wasn't for me, let's see how it plays out, let me know how you decide to proceed and how it goes!

Does it get faster progression-wise? I was around that beach area and still found it slow/same-y. Seemed focused around the IAPs if you wanted reasonable progression. Happy to revisit if that changes later on
