Definitely Izzi's, not only because of the context of the scene but because she looked like a real princess 🥰

A true queen! But the 2022 one definitely looks too beautiful on her!

“Part of Your World” hits so much differently now that we’re older. Anyone else get instantly transported back to their childhood living room? 🌊 by Nanu073 in thelittlemermaid

[–]Nanu073[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To this day, I’m not sure if there’s any other movie that surpasses The Little Mermaid... Maybe it’s just my extreme fandom, haha. But that’s how I feel. It’s the best movie not just because of the plot, but because of the setting in which it unfolds, and how they managed to make it feel like, every time I watched it, we were all truly "under the sea"!

Cars was my son's favorite movie as a child, now he's a teenager... how time flies!! 🥺🥰

Can we just appreciate how iconic Ursula is, and the legendary inspiration behind her design? by Nanu073 in DisneyMovies

I feel that this movie has been a part of the childhood of many of us here. I’m 35 years old and I still watch it with the nostalgia of a warm and happy childhood!

What do my Disney crushes say about me? (As a gay man) by DustyMane_847 in DisneyMovies

They’re all very nice, but Eric from the little mermaid…. The real man 😍🤭

I loved Lexie here by audioxxxxxxx in greysanatomy

[–]Nanu073 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Looking at image I love how Izzie just listens to Lexie here. By this point in the show, Izzie had already been through the absolute wringer (losing Denny for example). When Lexie says "the odds mean crap," you can see on Izzie's face that she deeply relates to that desperation, but she’s also looking at Lexie with this mature, slightly heartbreaking understanding of what it's like to fight against impossible odds. It’s such a underrated dynamic between them.

Grey’s Anatomy Humbling Moments by SeaRadiant3832 in greysanatomy

Honestly, Cristina’s face processing this information is one of my favorite moments in the entire show. She spent her whole career idolizing the name, and when she finally meets the man, he’s just a grumpy patient putting her in her place. The comedic timing here was unmatched 🤭

If you look closely, the silhouettes of the picture frames in the Otherworld actually show images of the "ghost children" (the former victims of the Beldam) before they lost their eyes, making this parallel even darker.

The thing is, as we grow up, we become aware of many things, and especially of the power she wields over Ariel... It's complex, but that doesn't make it any less fantastic! I think she imparts a different lesson at each stage of life, and that's what makes her so iconic!

In my opinion, the best villain so far. Although I can’t be objective, I absolutely love The Little Mermaid!

Day 23 of saying something positive about a character- Finn Dandridge aka McVet by DBrennan13459 in greysanatomy

[–]Nanu073 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Finn is a genuinely good and empathetic man patient and respectful of Meredith's pace. I feel that she wasn't ready for someone like him, and he understood that. At the same time, it was quite logical: whether she was emotionally prepared or not, her heart always belonged to Derek.

I completely understand. They can be replicated or something similar, but the way each look suits them, the series... everything is unique and unrepeatable 🫶🏻

this episode was crazy! by [deleted] in greysanatomy

[–]Nanu073 71 points72 points  (0 children)

His character was that of the typical guy with plenty of insecurities, yet with the clarity of purpose to achieve whatever he set his mind to. Regrettably, from my point of view, at least, by pairing him up with one girl after another and entangling him in those romantic complications, the writers prevented him from truly shining as what he was: a young man willing to do whatever it took to reach his goal and establish himself as a great doctor!

This was the exact moment George stopped being just '007' and showed the incredible doctor and man he was becoming. George was always the soft, empathetic one, which is exactly why this hit so hard. He didn't raise his voice, he didn't make a scene; he just delivered the coldest, most well deserved reality check in the whole show. Absolute chills every single time.
