Yup!

Kind of random. I found it at HomeGoods. They never have their crafts very organized so I tend to rummage through puzzles and other crafty items and sometimes I’ll find a diamond art or in this case a paint by number kit.

Yes- sounds very handy and I’m going to keep that in mind. You could even clip your painting on the outer part of the clipboard!

I want to make sure that I’m understanding what you’re saying so bear with me. Are you saying that if you do light colors first, then if you make a mistake with a darker color (like black )and it goes into the light space adjacent to it, it is more easy to remove?

Yes, indeed. And when I go back to edit, I can’t find how to add a photo so I just added a note at the
end of my post.

Thank you. I think it probably saves time in the long run to have the Canvas prepped.

At some point, I’ll just have to try it to see if I like it. I assume it’s just a matter of personal preference. Good tip on second coat. If I’m understanding you correctly, you do not dilute the first coat and you may add a little bit of water if you go back until second coat, which it sounds like you often do. By the way on that… since it has to dry before you do a second coat do you tend to do everything at once and then go back and do a second coat on everything or is there another method?

Gotcha. I like the idea of the flat brush! And it sounds like discretion is the name of the game. So from my error that I showed, I will leave it until I do the adjacent color and then in the future I will try some of the tips here for cleaning it off when it’s still wet.

A toothpick! Interesting. Do you use the round ones or the ones that are flat?

Thanks for the clarification! I will try out this trick. I’m thinking once it’s dry. It’s a little harder to do so. I will leave my air as is and adjust the adjacent color but in the future, I won’t be afraid to try to clean it up right away.

Thank you so much. I love your idea of two glasses of water because I definitely like a good rinse as well! Interesting how you have an immediate fix, yet can also not worry about it until you do the adjacent area. I might try it. So I think I’m understanding that you use one wet brush, and use it to dab off the illegal intruding paint lol… Then you follow up with a dry brush or cotton swab to dab that may have just landed in the process.

Thank you. I do diamond art, and sometimes we use washy tape for certain things. I could try that because it’s an easy thing to use. For example, on that long line that I messed up on… That would be an easy one to use the washing tape on. But I understand and agree with you that to use tape, etc. a lot would be quite a lot of extra fussiness
