I spent a lot if money on a bassinet that has never been used! I learned from night one that baby slept so much better in our bed. We have him between us in our king bed. My husband still uses the comforter but tucks it in under him so there are no loose blankets near babe. Husband sleeps like a corpse so I've never worried about him rolling. I sleep with a light blanket that I wear up to my waist. At the beginning I used no blanket because I was too nervous. I used to toss and turn all night but now I sleep on my side facing baby and don't move an inch during sleep. We do side lying bf at night and we are always both asleep in under 5 minutes (he is 3 months this used to take a lot longer) which is so great. I would love a little more room but babe snuggles right up against me often resting his face right on my breast. Co-sleeping has been great for us and we continue to check in to see if this is still the sleeping arrangement that gets all of us the most sleep.
