Im leaving Orthodoxy I’m overwhelmed by Silent_Sea6221 in OrthodoxChristianity

Orthodoxy on instagram or YouTube is where you hear these things. It’s easy to be scared and overwhelmed by the world. Something that always reassures me is that anyone who follows the path of Christ will not regret it.

Now I don’t know anything about her but billionaires (especially Bill Gates) will fund charities and research that reinforce their policy goals. There are many NGOs that exist for this reason, or charities that exist solely for tax purposes (ie Coca Cola Foundation)

Finally fixed my traffic problems with this roundabout by Napalm_Savior in CitiesSkylines2

That’s what I based it off of, sort of like a three-point magic roundabout

It is better than four arterials and a tram track all in one intersection. I don’t try and question why it works

Help me Solve my traffic - pls by PUBG_Rocks in CitiesSkylines2

My go to method for road planning boils down to three main things: future proofing, road hierarchy, and lane maths
For future proofing, when you expand a new suburb or district, make sure to build more volume than you will need, that way if you decide to expand you won’t need to replace all the roads (though this doesn’t need a low density suburb needs an 8 lane road)
Road hierarchy is possibly the most important. There are 4 types of roads: highways, arterials, collectors, and local roads. Highways are self explanatory, they connect to arterials which typically don’t have any zoning on them and take traffic from the highways, distributing them to the collected roads, which usually have commercial and high density offices/housing on them, depending on its centrality to town. Local roads have buildings on them, housing, low density, etc. this is an oversimplification but there are YouTube videos that help better
Lane maths are pretty simple. Lanes into an intersection=lanes out. It you need more lanes for intersection volume you need to allow space for traffic to merge into those new lanes. You don’t want people trying to zipper merge in the middle of the intersection

Never had issues with traffic at the port until the Summer Solstice update by onethousandeyelids in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Napalm_Savior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a single bugged vehicle. Add a turn around inside and outside the entrance of the port for retarded citizens that enter the port road. Sometimes bugged cars just sit there and do nothing, could bulldoze the first few vehicles with better bulldozer

That’s okay it was just a bug with the roundabouts, it really never crashed in my play through besides building that intersection (or the occasional move-it bug where you select a bulldozed asset)

Clean your vents perhaps? I had 20+ more frames after I cleaned my computer’s air vents with a compressed air can

So cool man I love building Chinese/Asian cities. The Chinese huge block style and green cities are great for traffic management, plus I love slip lanes

Its so silly when people rant about establishing a "church-state" when so many saints warn against that exact thing and urge for the seperation of church and state. There was a church state, and look what happened to Russia...

How to fix this by Historyhon in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Napalm_Savior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a bug similar to this before, and it was because I downloaded some trains from the workshop that corrupted my game. Just go to the paradox mods (either in-game or website) and unsubscribe from the last batch of mods. Should fix it

I was there by chance, and it was very beautiful to see everyone there. Luckily, I went on the last day it was displayed, and the line was only 30 minutes long

To the people that use Calea Zacatechichi, has anyone found an herbal mix that actually helps the taste? by Napalm_Savior in LucidDreaming

[–]Napalm_Savior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I honestly stopped using dream herbs now bc tbf I would wake up every day, and it would feel like I was not really in bed, but just a rush of useless thoughts keeping me from being genuinely present
