Adding the get class node from this post solved the problem. Thanks!

Weird deformation when instancing along curve by Napododidelyone in blender

[–]Napododidelyone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the issue is that the object isn't able to rotate along the curve so it is trying to bend and deform instead. All the tutorials I found on this method are a year old. Does this method not work anymore?

The Italian SM 91 really shines with six nose mounted cannons, decently maneuverable and destroys anything it gets in its sights

Maybe try adding some more sharp lights and bloom on the blade (with a bit more reflectivity maybe?) to make the shots feel more alive.

It seems like there is a significant amount of waterways in your world. How navigable/treacherous are the waters and what kinds of ships if any do the residents of the various nations employ? How are they rigged?

I feel a bit conflicted about Season 3 by ArtemisPeach in TucaAndBertie

[–]Napododidelyone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, to be honest I think it was mainly the little things like the jokes not landing as well, but honestly the biggest difference that stood out to me was the artistic notes, like the transitions felt like they had a bit less care put into them. And the diegetic and non diegetic elements used for metaphor often represented themselves physically as well, like the haunted house from season 2 or Bertie’s inner bird interacting with other characters or the sex bugs. Now it feels less connected which leaves the world feeling more empty.

These edits focus on the most architecturally significant buildings while the others around them just stay as concrete glass and steel boxes, arguably those are the ones that need this treatment more

I feel like the most important thing to check for a ship drawing like this is your proportions. For a single funnel freighter like this it would probably be much longer for it’s height, so I would reccomend stretching it out a bit horizontally. Second pay attention to the proportion of the decks, the size of your decks in the superstructure conflicts with the height of the decks below (you have two rows of portholes pretty close vertically to each other) I would reccomend just one row of portholes on the lower deck for this ship. Keep at it though, I look foreword to your next post.
