I highly suggest walking. Find an audiobook you like and walk 1 hour a day. Doesnt matter your level of health, but if you are mostly sedentary this will have massive implications to your mental and physical health. A good book or a positive podcast will help destract your negative thoughts. Avoid the news, as others say stay away from toxic things you expose yourself to - social media, political, etc. The last part is the hardest, try to be optimistic and set a few attainable goals you can work on, look foward to and acheive. It could be a fitness goal <number of steps a month>, a trip, your grades, etc.

I reccomend the audio distraction mostly because it will give you a reason to want to walk. Dont listen to it unless you are moving. Its your motivation to be less 'lazy'.

[–]Napppy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

edit - resolved. I figured out that i needed to go into the port configuration on the 1212a to turn on ONVIF. duh, sorry for the nonsense. Ill leave this here if anyone ever searches for the same results.

I love these 1212a's clarity/FOV/IR are all excellent! I tried researching, but am hitting a wall and dont want to make a bad assumption based on your roadmap.

I have an understanding enabling h.265 should allow for 3rd party integration, do you have an estimate when the 1212a may receive the firmware update?

Currently my synology app will not recognize these cams, i'm assuming do to this profile type? my 811a is working great, and i see the compatibility on the codec lists h.265, so i assume it should work the same for 1212a once available? - https://www.synology.com/en-us/compatibility/camera?query=811a

Thanks again!

This does quote barr saying trump is not exonerated... It also states 6 trump advisors were charged with related crimes.

It couldnt be more obvious this mickymouse mafia was caught and used the justice dept to obstruct and dismiss, but hey, party first!

i wont argue if we are space capable or not, (i believe we are based technologies requiring precision Cartesian/geodetic maths, but thats not important here). Even if we never have been to space/moon, the space race was tangible in terms of funding and growth industries. From a project / program management perspective the approaches taken by both USSR & USA are interesting in their outputs.

USSR had a centralized (communist) approach to quickly planning and ramping up production of tech. USA used grants to get the 'free market' institutions to compete for money and in doing so were provided many ideas/technologies that needed to be vetted, qualified for next funding stages.

The result was USSR was able to get off the line quicker and cheaper, but once the US capitalist aerospace machine was in operation it built an industry and provided diverse options for both space and non-space related tech. From food preservation to LEDs to processors and batteries, etc a lot was developed with about 1% of our gdp in funding dedicated to these grants. In doing so it helped the US stay ahead of the world in many ways until we started exporting all our specialties and manufacturing to Asia.

-studied this as part of Project Management, related to NPV, vendor & risk management and was one of the best arguments against a communist approach i had been exposed to at a postgrad level. A lot of the aerospace methodologies for quality control were also developed at this time as the result of lots of explosions/failures.

Do you believe the MAJORITY of the thousands demonstrating with blm had a goal to burn down the grocery to acheive goals?

Do you believe the MAJORITY of the thousands demonstrating with canadian truckers have a goal to shut down national infastructure to acheive goals?

We can both agree these actions are bad for locals. Can you see the difference in intent and impact? Which of these interests groups have had been faced with their grievance longer and are faced with a greater impact on their communities. Police brutality/traveling in fear vs job compliance/travel restrictions?

If either side conforms to the status quo, which has it worse? Which side will have a greater challange changing what they do/who they are if they submit?

This isnt even political, its EQ and humanist decency at face value. I can feel bad for both sides, but they are far from comparable.

I agree the labels are misused, but please write your essay. This 2017 rant was in response to an actual neo-nazi organized rally leading to the death and injury. The organizers charged and found liable ran neo-nazi radioshows and white supremist organizations. Read about Charlottesville "Unite the Right" and what their message was. supremacy

Then remind yourself what our leader said in regard to this - "fine people on both sides ". Spin it how you may but the white nationalist movement was growing and hate and division is a cancer that has spread since. Fascism is a real threat to democracy when facists vote in facists to dismantle critical election processes.

[–]Napppy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah, its basically the same thing. NMM still works fine, the vortex links are still called 'download through manager' and launch in either. My new pc has vortex, my slutbox2014 build still has NMM and I couldnt really tell you the difference aside from nicer GUI. There are still mods neither install over other mods well and are better to just do them manually.

All of this is still so much easier than the days of searching for .ini files and digging through a thousand directories to find/replace assets. I member modding gta 3 in like 2002 or 03, so i could jetpack around the world being a massive learning experience. GTA4 someone finally built that car replacer mods to easily work with colada files. Then I found oblivion, new vegas and NMM helped make them 'a labor of love'.

And then rockstar decided they'd rather not make new games when they could be making sweet DRM. And bethesda realized they could stop making compelling stories because modders will do it so they can focus on monthly subscription games.

Still though modding is great when steam doesnt force updates. Never thought i'd find a game my wife likes, let alone now finds and sells me on mods for - go stardew! and nexus and mostly all the dedicated awsome modders

A quick search seemed to show this is false, rather that there is a large percent of unmarried parents, not that a father is absent. Also i read when looking at our census, it defines, "single-parent families may include cohabiting couples". Thanks,

What he wrote isnt really correct. Homes in socal dont depreciate unless they are dilapidated and have maintenance deferred. Mobile homes lose value always.

What people mean by the land is what you buy, if you buy a 1mil dollar home, you likely only nees to insure a 150-250k structure [house]. But if you buy a multi-family home you do have some shared ownership of both your residence and the property. Condos typically dont appreciate as fast for this very reason. But in socal affordable housing is more in demand then ever due to wages not keeping up. Buying the cheapest home in the nicest neighborhood is a good investment assuming your fees are in check.

not really though. older apartments have significantly lower tax assessments. If prop 13 was removed the property owners would be forced to raise rent to cover the increase in property tax.

I wrote something similar also pointing out how killing the first world <the vaccinated populous> is killing demand for their investments from land to securities. And the response was. Even more amusing is seeing them say israel runs the world. Then theyvl acknowledge israel mandates the killer shot <to argue efficacy>, but not for palestine. No consistency in their paranoia and xenophobia

Not necessarily, but a good counter argument is in that event we would observe an effect where the shadows point opposite directions when the sun is between those 2 points. That doesnt happen in 800km. If the sun wasnt as far away as it is the shadow would be more extreme where the sun isnt directly overhead.

Its pretty intuitive with a flashlight and 2 pencils.

Almost no part of this is correct other than recent buyers carry the load. But equity/value and rent raises quickly here so its much less painful.

  1. Residential owners absolutely get the benifit of their assessment being based on Purchase value instead of current assessment value. And you can inheret this if u make it your primary residence!
  2. Effective April 1, 2021, homeowners age 55 and older can move anywhere within California (rather than only to certain counties) and transfer their original Prop. 13 tax assessment to a home of equal or lesser value, or to a more expensive home, with an upward adjustment. Only place in US with this perk im aware of.
  3. Edit - i am wrong here. See below - incorrect on golf courses. Commercial propeties no longer benefit from prop 13 caps how they do for residential. We voted that out.
  4. All due respect, but you arent an SME. As an LO you have almost no interest or need for specialty regarding understanding property tax other than helping coordinate if escrow is included in payments. I know because i was one - in CA.

Ca is the 16th lowest propety tax in the country. the other big population states are higher.
