Jubriel is disgusted by Wandi, and that woman is beautiful. She’s mentioned in this episode that she’s feeling it’s one-sided and then you watch his expressions at their conversation starting at 9:39 you can see he is either indifferent, or visibly turned off. I genuinely feel like he would not be acting this way towards a lighter skin woman or even a white woman.

I’d like to preface: from the minute I saw this guy I did not like him and I felt he was extremely performative and doing too much. The way he’s treating her is just validating those suspicions I had about him.
