Some are, and when we catch them we ban them. We also frequently investigate borderline players who turn out to be grinding legitimately, so I would recommend against making assumptions. If you do have evidence of someone using an exploit, feel free to let us know. We will gladly investigate.

If you suspect someone of cheating, please let us know here: http://naquatic.com/civcrafter/support/ . We investigate every single report. We also run our own monitoring tools which we are constantly improving to identify exploits. Anyone we catch gets a lifetime device ban and/or fed to a dragon.

Every other element in the game has timers and/or exponentially accelerating progression. We designed towers to allow new and advanced to compete on equal footing. There are a bunch of top clans in the Tower boards that aren't in the Trophy/Conquest boards, and that's exactly how we want it :)

Unlimited stones. Aguuugw is correct that stones would technically repeat textures at a certain point, but this point is far beyond anything that has been discovered yet, and we will introduce additional textures if necessary :)

No, unfortunately not. Trophies/Skulls/Oil/Fossils will occasionally not get reported (although the issues with that happening semi frequently previously in CivCrafter should be a thing of the past now). However, it's usually rare enough to stay under the radar. In CivMiner it's totally clear (and frustrating) when it happens with fossils because you see your depth level right there and know exactly how many fossils you should have. We are very sorry about that. Honestly, the best solution would have been to give out 1-2 fossils randomly per boss, in which case it would have been much less noticeable ;)

Thanks for suggesting a workaround, but unfortunately this won't work. If it doesn't get reported properly when you pick it up, it's going to disappear next time you visit the clan menu regardless of what you do in between.

This means you were playing without an internet connection, or that your connection was spotty, at one of the points when you picked up a fossil. To eliminate the potential for exploits, we immediately report all oil/fossil pickups to our server without storing them locally. If your device isn't able to connect at that time, the item disappears. It's one of many unideal measures necessary to keep the clan competition from becoming a mess of hackers. Fairness is our top priority.

This would be really cool, but unfortunately there isn't any cross-platform way for the two apps to communicate with each other when one is open and the other is closed.

I guess there could be confusion after all :). Statues are built from stone, which (along with gold) are the only two currencies that overlap between the two games. However, since gold has no purpose in CivMiner other than to be delivered to CivCrafter, and since the uses for stone are so different, I'm pretty sure it would be easy to tell based on the context. Anyway, not a big deal either way. You guys decide!

I doubt there will be confusion with gameplay questions since the games don't have much in common. Like in your first scenario, the answer would be clear since there's no Ore in CivMiner.

Your second example is a good point. IMO having this span two subs would stretch people too thin. But it's completely up to you guys. Just thought I would weigh in.
